Hozier is one of the most successful folk artists of the 21st century. Born Andrew Hozier-Byrne, the Irish singer-songwriter first toured internationally as a member of the Irish vocal group Anúna before going solo in 2012. His watershed moment came a year later when his first single, “Take Me to Church” was released. In 2014, it rose to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ushered in Hozier’s self-titled debut, which itself reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. “Take Me to Church” closed 2014 as Spotify’s most-shared song of the year and garnered Hozier’s first career Grammy nomination for Song of the Year. His 2019 sophomore full-length, Wasteland Baby!, topped the Billboard 200 and was supported by Hozier’s first solo headlining world tour. In 2023, Hozier released his third album, Unreal Unearth. Throughout his career, Hozier has collaborated with artists such as Mavis Staples, Annie Lennox, Maren Morris, Noah Kahan, Brandi Carlile and composer Bear McCreary.

    I absolutely loved this concert!! I brought my mom with me and she’s ended up, having never listened to his music, falling in love with his artistry. She has even started looking other potential stops for us to go see him again.

    I have been wanting to see Hozier live for years and this was the best experience ever. He sounded amazing and he sang some of my favorite old songs. Allison Russell was very interactive with the crowd and had an amazing voice as well. The venue was amazing; all of the staff were super nice and inviting and helpful. I got free lawn tickets to go to another event later on this year!

    Extremely Whimsical (surprisingly rock!)

    Hozier sounds even better live. His band and backup singers are so good and he is so magical!!! I went with my parents, my sister, and my friend and they also loved him even if they weren’t as familiar with his songs. I will say that it was at times hard to hear his voice because his band was so loud. That might have been a venue issue though- we were at the Orlando Kia Center for reference. The audience was so wonderful too!!

    Hozier is hands down an amazing artist. I enjoyed his music and everyone involved but when you stop the concert to express your political views and opinions for 10+ mins, it really killed the mood. Idk what it is lately with artist expressing their politics in the middle of their performances, but I didn’t pay money to watch you talk politics… I payed to watch you perform music.

    A More Spiritual Experience Than Church

    It’s not every day you get to be 30 feet away from one of the most influential and talented artists of our age. Hozier’s unique blend of activism, soul, rock, and folk music is unprecedented and witnessing it firsthand is an ethereal experience. He’s not afraid to share the spotlight and uplift people of color, queer people, and women. I have never felt so safe and welcomed at a concert— his fans are some of the kindest on earth. As a listener and fan of eight years, it’s wonderful to see Hozier finally get the recognition he warrants. His work is so touching that I cried twice a day for the next three days after the concert. Hozier, you have my heart and undying support— I cannot wait to see you again <3

    Best Concert Ever

    I have been to both Elton John and Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks, but Hozier’s concert tops those easy. I was up, dancing, and singing along the whole concert. If you love Hozier’s music, I highly recommend. It’s a spiritual experience to hear the songs live.
