The Irish are coming! The Irish are coming! Northern Irish dance-punk trio Two Door Cinema Club have stormed the urban scene with their fresh indie new-wave sound. Think of them as your ticket to catchy dance music without the guilt.
If you've been to any cool-kid parties with plenty of PBR or watched a Microsoft Outlook commercial you've heard Two Door Cinema Club. The debut single "Something Good Can Work" was originally released in 2009 on a trend-setting compilation from fashion house/record label Maison Kitsunè. If you can't remember it catch it on Youtube (it has nearly 15 million views).
Following in the footsteps of French dance-pop phenomena Phoenix and '80s icon Duran Duran, Two Door Cinema Club recorded their debut 2010 album Tourist History at Eastcote Studios in London. Mixed by Phillip Zdar, his vision was to punch up the beat with rich bass and foot-stomping rhythm. While on tour with Alt-J, Chvrches, Peace and St Lucia, stopping a venues like Fillmore (Philadelphia), their live sets turned into impromptu dance parties, not even the most passive fans couldn't resist the groove.
Their sophomore album Beacon, produced by Jacknife Lee was released in September 2012 and reached No. 17 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with singles" Sleep Alone" and "Sun." Well thought hooks, good beats, and fearless when it comes to having fun, Two Door Cinema Club is going to have many honorary members wanting to join in.
It doesn't get any better than seeing TDCC live, they’re real performers through and through. The energy they bring is beautiful and their show at pier 17 is my favorite concert I've ever been to and up there with the backseat lovers 1st tour
I've been to over 10 concerts so far in my life I'm 20 btw. Some of the concerts being coldplay,twentyone pilots, reo speedwagon and imagine dragons. I have to say two door is my favorite band to have seen live it all depends on the band and venue and I loved it

You think they’re okay until you see them live. Then you think they’re amazing! I only recently started listening toto TDCC I saw they were coming and questioned going. Thankfully I won tickets. And I was absolutely blown away how fantastic they sounded live. Their light show was something too. Since the concert I have listened to them every day. And I will be first in line to buy tickets in the pit next time so I can dance!
Such a great show, Two Door Cinema Club killed it! Even the opening act (Quarters of Change) was a lot of fun. There's not a bad seat at the venue either. I will definitely be going back.
This was the first time seeing TDCC and I cannot believe that I missed out on many shows in the past. Luckily this time they finally came to a city closer to mine. It felt like it was HS all over again and the memories just came back. I hope to see them again whenever they tour the US again. I love TDCC ✌🏼

I've been wanting to see Two Door Cinema Club for over 10 years now, last Sunday's show was amazing, the band was great and it was just nostalgic listening to them play their previous albums. Alex's ethereal singing voice had brought me back to my early young adult years and was just a magical experience to enjoy seeing them live
