Eight-piece rock 'n' roll collective The Revivalists - David Shaw [lead vocals, guitar], Zack Feinberg [guitar], Andrew Campanelli [drums], George Gekas [bass], Ed Williams [pedal steel guitar], Rob Ingraham [saxophone], Michael Girardot [keyboard, trumpet], and PJ Howard [drums, percussion] - have made the journey from hole-in-the-wall gigs to sold-out shows at hallowed venues, multiplatinum success, more than 800 million streams and major media praise. Their fifth album, Pour It Out Into The Night (Concord Records) is a life-affirming album about living in the moment, fueled by lessons in gratitude and life realizations. Renowned for their live prowess, soulful alt-rock anthems, distinct mix of many of the classic styles of American music, and outward generosity through their philanthropic Rev Causes initiative, The Revivalists broke through with 2015's Men Amongst Mountains, which featured the double-platinum smash single and Billboard Hot 100 hit "Wish I Knew You."

Great energy, great opener! Had a really great time, recommend this band
The venue (Hard Rock Bristol) was too large for the crowd. The crowd was older and less lively than typical for The Revivalists. I've seen them 5-6 times live and this was the least energetic I've seen. It was also next to impossible to get an uber after the show which made the end of the night very frustrating and difficult. I highly recommend The Mill & Mine in Knoxville as a better venue choice for the next trip to east TN
Revivalists were awesome! They sound exactly how they sound in all their recordings. They kept the crowd going. Thanks for a great experience!
The show was superb! The band was very interactive with the audience and really sounded great. Greenfield Lake is the best place to see a concert!
Love, LOVE this band! See them at every opportunity. This performance was slightly off in that they played their extended tracks and missed out on a few hits. Don't get me wrong, they entire band is amazing and you can tell their talent extends deeper than David Shaw's vocals and stage presence. Everyone contributes and is highlighted during the show. Maybe it was the early end time, shorter set or something else that contributed, not sure. Either way, you can bet I'll be buying a ticket to the next show anywhere close to the Austin area.
Absolutely tremendous concert at Avondale in Birmingham. Given it was a Friday night and Halloween, the energy was high from the get-go, and everyone was having a great time. The band joined in with costumes and appeared to be having a great time and that carried out to all of us in attendance. They even had a costume contest, and the winner was when they were dressed as the I-65 billboard with the Devil and the tag line "Go to Church or the Devil Will Get You". As for the music, it was spot on, and they mixed it up well. They took a quick break almost as a curtain call but returned back to play an extended set of Tom Petty and I Wish I Knew You. My only minor complaint is I would have liked them to skp a Petty song and play All My Friends. That is a minor beef with it though. We took some friends that didn't really know their music and they are huge fans now. All in all, just a great time.
They played so long! Really talented! Can’t wait to see them again.
This is my husband's favorite band so we were thrilled when they were playing so close to MS where we live. Avondale Brewing is an incredible venue. We upgraded to A-List and Elevate. We quickly found out that Elevate was the way to go. A-List was great if you want to get there early and hang out. They did have bar food throughout the concert for the A-List group so that was nice. The Elevate pass enabled you access to the top level which has an amazing view of the stage and a private bar that you share with the A-List. The Revivalists were great - all decked out in costumes and having a good time! 5 out of 5 recommend the band and the venue!
This was an Awesome show.I saw the Revivalists at the Fox theater 2 years ago.And they were great.I missed them when they came to Birmingham, Al the first-time. But I was determine to see them at Avondale Brewery this time.which is a great venue and their VIP is really great.Heard all of my favorite songs that I enjoy hearing them sing and just enjoyed the moment.
Revivalists at Avondale Brewing was GREAT! Great energy from a big band, full buy-in from all the band members, and what felt like a sincere appreciation for the audience.
