David was awesome. Watch a couple of his interviews, neat, down to earth kid. I find it funny with some of the reviews where they get mad because they were not allowed to take a picture with the artist, and believe they should be able to do so because they “drove far”, etc. There are plenty of opportunities to take picture of him on stage as it’s usually a smaller venue, but if you want to meet and greet, pay for the experience. It is not very fair to those that do if people swarm him outside and ask to take extra pictures. Especially if you’re doing this in an area where they are trying to load up. My kids saw him in concert twice. They loved it. One of them we paid for a backstage meet and greet and he was very gracious. With their VIP tickets they were also able to get up front and David held my son‘s hand for one of the songs. Super cool. My wife tells me that the first concert was much better because the second concert was at House of Blues and there were 3000 screaming teenage girls yelling the words to every song at the top of their lungs. This made it harder to hear David‘s voice. My wife states at the first concert, you could feel his deep register vibrate deep into your soul, it’s such a cool and unique voice. That was not able to be appreciated at the second concert because of too many screaming younger girls. I felt like I was at a club volleyball tournament. I was at that HOB concert, and there was a lot of screaming, but it was still very enjoyable. Great meaningful songs with purpose. Small town kid with his parents in the crowd, I got to hang out with and take a couple photos with his dad. Fun guy. Either way, David is a rising star with an amazing voice, wicked lyrics, and a very cool vibe. Well worth it. Deep introspective lyrics, biblical at times which is beautiful. He is one of my five childrens’ ( and wife’s) favorite artists and he did not disappoint.
