Down Right Out-Standing

-

The concert was about 15 min late at starting but once it did, oh man it sure did! It was rocking the whole night and you got to hear not only a bunch of oldies that aren't too familiar but then at the end like a shockwave of hit after hit and everything was performed to its upmost level. I loved it, created great memories and last but not least the camera work that helped a lot of people observe the talent was fantastic! Great job!

Great artist! Poor acoustics.

-

Billy Joel was great! But I'd forgotten how poor the acoustics are in the Amway Center. This venue is much better suited to sporting events. I do always appreciate how friendly the Amway staff is.

Better than Last Year

-

Absolutely amazing! Last year was fabulous, but Billy was more amazing this year. He's my favorite and he never disappoints.

Best Musician of All Time

-

Billy Joel is the greatest musician to ever live. Despite having the cheapest nosebleed seats, he made it a FANTASTIC experience.

Best concert ever

-

I've seen Billy at least a dozen times but this was the FIRST time that everyone stayed in their seats (except for the floor seats) and enjoyed the concert. No drunk people standing up in front of me, singing off key or spilling beers in my purse. The Amway center is a great venue and I'd go there again. What I also love about Billy is that he connects with the audience, sharing stories, poking fun at himself and it just makes you love him more. Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.

Great time at the Amway!

-

Wow what a concert! Played 2 hours and 15mins. Had a 360 stage and sang as if it were 1980. He was incredible - as well as his band. If you get a chance to see him GO! You will feel like a kid again we also went the next 2 days and saw the Magic beat the Celtic and then The Raptors. Perfect weekend!

Happy wifey

-

Billy Joel is one of my wife’s all time favorites and mine as well. This is the third time I’ve seen him and he is amazing!! Even though our seats were in the upper level we had amazing view, sound, and of course memories and the experience

Excellent show!

-

Excellent show! Though it was archaic that the tickets had to be printed and weird that you took my water bottle cap, so I'm taking one star off for that.

Amazing

Awesome show! So glad we went. Sitting behind the stage was just as good as being in front.... of not better!

Biography

Legendary New York-bred singer-songwriter Billy Joel has toured only sporadically in recent years, but fans have plenty of opportunities to score tickets to see him in concert going forward -- if they're willing to head out to New York's Madison Square Garden. Joel signed an open-ended deal with MSG that will have him playing a concert at the venue once per month for as long as there's demand. And demand has never been a problem for Joel at he historic New York venue; he played his first show there in 1978, and had logged 46 concerts at the arena by 2013.
New York isn't alone in its love for the singer. Joel has long been established as one of the top-grossing touring artists in the U.S., and has sold more than 150 million records over the course his four-decade career. After recording a long string of hits including "Piano Man," "New York State of Mind," "Just the Way You Are," "You May Be Right," "Pressure," "Uptown Girl," "We Didn't Start the Fire," and  "The River of Dreams," Joel decided that he was done writing pop and rock songs. It's a decision he's stuck with; it's been more than 20 years since he's recorded a new pop or rock album. He's composed new classical material instead, while continuing to play songs from his catalog in concert.
