About

The Castellows are a sibling country band hailing from a cattle farm in the small, rural town of Georgetown, Georgia. Made up of sisters Lily (vocals), Ellie (lead guitar) and Powell (banjo), the trio released their first two singles, “No. 7 Road” and “Hurricane,” after relocating to Nashville. Those tracks were followed by “I Know It’ll Never End,” the lead single off The Castellows’ debut EP A Little Goes A Long Way, which will be released February 4 via Warner Music Nashville. The sisters are also primed to embark on their upcoming 2024 U.S. tour covering much of the South as well as a number of festivals including Boston Calling, Windy City Smokeout, and Under the Big Sky.

  • Spectacular Show

by Paulie Hot TubMcCauley on 11/19/25Mercury Lounge - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The Castellows blew the roof off the Mercury Lounge -- Ellie, Lily, and Powell wowing their adoring fans with beautiful blood harmonies and breathtaking, angelic radiance. This despite being two-thirds compromised -- Lily nursing a bad cold, and Ellie a broken heart. Only Powell -- banjo-picking blond bombshell personified, was 100%, but the gals were jaw-dropping spectacular nonetheless. Especially touching were Lily's intro to "Old Way"("God is good . . . he has us all here for a reason"), and Ellie's sharing the story of her recent break-up ("the first time in my life I ever had my heart broken"), and then singing the song she wrote about it. Their set featured already classic originals -- leading off with their signature, dirt-road anthem "No. 7 Road,"then launching into "Cowboy Kind of Love"("I don't need red roses, it's wildflowers I'm dreaming of"), and later "Sober Sundays,""Sheltered,"and "Freeway"(as an old-time UGA grad, I love the reference to the 40 Watt Club in Athens), among others. They also dazzled with samples from their recent foray into balladeering -- with sad but beautifully poetic songs such as "Alabama Stone,""Old Way,"and "Broke"("sometimes you've gotta dance with the devil to put shoes on baby's feet"). They finished with "Hurricane,"all in all a wonderful show, only wish they could have played longer. The boys in the band, especially Justin on fiddle, were also excellent. Hope Lily is able to rest her voice, and the Bulldogs' glorious victory over Texas helped boost Ellie's spirits. Can't wait to see them next year.

The music including the lyrics, musical compositions, and arrangements are just fantastic! Their music is full of emotions, hart, soul, and love! Even their cover songs are sprinkled Castellows seasoning and they make the cover songs their own! The guys in their band are equally amazing musicians! In addition we got to meet them after a show, they are genuine, graceful, generous, and just amazing young ladies! Can wait to see them again soon!

  • the greatest new country band!!!

by Kitty on 11/3/25The Bluestone - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

I had seen The Castellows open for Little Big Town and Sugarland last year and have been anxiously awaiting the chance to see them headline ever since. The venue was beautiful, intimate, and relaxed. The girls were amazing, lovely, and put on such a fun show. Hearing these songs live was a wonderful experience. My show was on Halloween and the whole band dressed up as pirates! They are incredible performers, musicians, and songwriters. I hope I get the chance to see them in concert again soon. If you have the chance, I would highly recommend it. They are the best new country act around and are gonna be huge one day. Their songs are instant classics. I can't say enough good things about these girls. Check them out!

by Bill on 11/2/25Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Arrived early and had a pint at the pub next door. Was struggling with phone reception but the young lady at the venue helped me get on their WiFi to show my ticket. Access to venue was easy and quick. Show was great with a good support act (Belle Frantz ). Departing venue was efficient.
