TREY ANASTASIO IN CONCERT:
Trey Anastasio's music transcends the walls of traditional rock -- whether he's leading the band Phish with his unique vocals or composing original licks on his Martin guitar, Anastasio proves his virtuosity as an extremely well-rounded musician. Although he's played alongside a diverse group of acts ranging from Dave Matthews to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Anastasio always returns to his roots as a guitarist and composer, captivating audiences with his grand use of arpeggios and improvisation at his live shows. Hitting the road with a number of different bands, Anastasio will treat fans to hit-filled sets on his highly anticipated summer tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Texas, Trey Anastasio got his start in college as the frontman of legendary jam band Phish, performing at local house parties for fellow classmates. The band rose to fame in the late '80s with their cult debut Phish (The White Tape), and eleven more albums followed over the course of their three-decade career. During the band's run, Anastasio released ten solo records, including an orchestral album and a collaboration between Primus' Les Claypool (bass) and Police's Stewart Copeland (drums) called Oysterhead. Not only has he had an expansive collection of hits, but he's also dabbled in chamber music and scoring for theater, composing a number of orchestral pieces and penning music for the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody. Anastasio has a packed summer tour ahead, and he's sure to delight fans as he performs with the Trey Anastasio Band, Phish, and the LA Philharmonic.

Classic Trey throwing out the love! Best show of the shows!! The long powerful jams!! Dezron is a great bass player. Treys John Kahn!! Music to my earballs!!
1st time seeing TAB solo. Show picked-up by the 2nd set and the band played for over 3 hours which was awesome!! Trey could have communicated a little more to the sold-out crowd but great musicianship.
Great sound at the history venue. Long sets with a great encore!!!
Trey slayed through a second set that saw TAB and Phish classics rendered by a stripped down foursome. The Rhythm section was mighty and the players stuck the landings on many extended solos. The night ended with the a keyboard solo that literally melted every face in the room. History as a venue has the most precise sound I have ever experienced and there is not a bad spot in the place. Great Band, great venue, great time. Thank you, Trey and TAB!
So much fun, such good sound, and great to dance to. Loved it.
Trey sounded great with his other 3 band members. There was a great jazzy funky feel . Very exploratory jamming
Trey rocked and the Salt Shed was great! Quick bar lines and easy entrance process. Sat in the Grandstands and The Salt Shed really puts the Grand in Grandstand!! Clear sound and just a great venue for such a talented group of Musicians
Salt shed is a very cool room. Easy to get in and around. Plenty of service areas to get done what’s needed. And as always, Trey delivered one hell of a show! Can’t wait to go back. And my was the bass on fire Thursday night !
