About

Eggy is... the fresh but familiar sound you crave. Eggy’s rich harmonies carry introspective lyrics across winding instrumentation, taking the listener on a deep sonic journey. Like a good dish, Eggy is more than the sum of its parts- Jake Brownstein (guitar/vocals), Dani Battat (keys/vocals), Mike Goodman (bass/vocals), & Alex Bailey (drum/vocals)

    Wow

by Jesse on 2/20/24Madison Live! - Covington

I’ve seen these guys over 40x and this show was definitely one of the top 2-3. They bloated hard and deep with precision. Some of the best improvised rock you will ever find. Don’t sleep on these guys if you love Phish or the Dead you will absolutely love Eggy

    EGGY in Boston!

by Rachel on 11/20/23Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

Best concert ever! These guys are smoking hot. I don't love the Brighton Music Hall though. Very crowded and the parking was rough. But Eggy is the best. I feel lucky to have seen them before they make the big time and start playing the stadiums. I hope that they do. They deserve it!

    ascendant fan friendly jam band

    by Big Fan on 8/14/23

Went to see them 3 days in a row and they did not disappoint. This show, especially the expended improvised encore was fabulous. Can't wait to see them again. Really nice guys who appreciate fans showing up and are willing to speak with them before or after the show when possible. Venue was comfortable with very good sound. Burger surprisingly good. Paid extra for table but no table service? Anyway no regrets; just good memories! OK Alex get the show up on nugs for everyone to enjoy!!

    Exceeded Expectations

by Casey on 6/13/23Portland House of Music and Events - Portland

First time seeing them in person. All four were really tight, listened well to each other and the jams flowed into some spacey places. Have already looked at when I ’ll be seeing them next 🤘🏼

    Fun and funky

by Sticks on 5/22/23The Foundry - Philadelphia

Eggy was great. I found them originally at Peachfest and wanted to see them again. I really enjoyed the opener Stolen Gin.

    Another bad Egg

by Peter on 5/2/23The Wonder Bar - Asbury Park

I went last year for $10. They were okay. The opening band Fungkshui was better. However, my friends said it wasnt one of their good nights. Whatever that means. Luckily my friend sold me a ticket for $18, but it was still the same song n dance. They are simply a poorman’s Spafford. They go way too slow and need to turn their Tempos up. The only good part of their show was when special guest Jimmy Law stole the show. Rather it was the fact he was in the audience or jamming on stage with them. Lastly, the Wonder Bar does not offer a proper amount of bartenders on a Saturday night.

What a STUPENDOUS group of musicians

by Astro on 11/8/22The Foundry - Philadelphia

Loved their sound. Danced all night. Could have done without the constant strobes and LED’s in my eyes but that maybe from the shape of the room.

    Must see now

by Jesse on 6/12/22The Southern Cafe & Music Hall - Charlottesville

Everything about this band is perfect. They start each show slow and build it up as it goes. They are phenomenal musicians and song writers. Their covers are more precise and clean than the original versions. This is probably the most humble band you will meet also. They love to converse with their fans before and after the shows. Go see Eggy before they are huge and it’s not cheap and intimate anymore. Do your soul a favor!
