  • Its Good to be Here!

by Janiro on 11/4/25Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Last Thursday, Atlanta was transported back to the golden age of hip-hop as Digable Planets graced the stage at the Buckhead Theatre — and the vibe was nothing short of electric. From the moment Butterfly, Ladybug Mecca, and Doodlebug stepped out, the crowd knew they were in for something special. The trio’s chemistry was undeniable, seamlessly blending jazz-infused beats, conscious lyrics, and timeless cool in a way that reminded everyone why they remain legends. Classics like “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” and “Nickel Bags” had the audience rapping every word, while deeper cuts showcased their artistry and the social depth that’s always defined their sound. The live band elevated the entire experience — the basslines grooved, the horns shimmered, and the drums hit with precision, giving every track a fresh yet familiar energy. The Buckhead Theatre’s intimate acoustics made the performance feel personal, like a celebration shared among old friends. Between songs, the group’s banter and genuine appreciation for their fans created an atmosphere of love and unity — a hallmark of true hip-hop culture. The crowd spanned generations, proving that Digable Planets’ music continues to inspire, uplift, and connect people decades later. In short, it wasn’t just a concert — it was a masterclass in timeless artistry. Digable Planets didn’t just perform in Atlanta; they reminded everyone what it means to be cool like dat.

  • Great Show

    by Joy N on 11/2/25Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I have been a fan of disabled planets since 95. I attended there 20 year anniversary show 10 years ago. The show was great. I took off 1 star because the group opening was way too long and my friend had to leave early because they didnt actually come.on stage u til like 9:30/9:45. Outside of that wonderful performance with a live band.

  • A classic hip hop show.

by Nice! on 11/2/25Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Classics from both of the early albums! Brought me back to the 90’s when true Hip Hop was king!

  • good show

by atlvibe on 11/2/25Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the Digable Planets show. I felt like the DJ and opening acts were prolonged. However, it was great to see the group. Their vibe was chill with beautiful jazz music intertwined with hip-hop. Their voices and tones didn't age; they looked and sounded great!

  • An Incredible Experience

by Bluez on 2/22/24Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The Planets came through 🙏🏽 an amazing presence and a good time all around. The only issue with the event were the other attendees at the venue, but everything else was great. The songs, the sounds, the vibe, and the band. Would definitely go to another if I could. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to see them! You won't regret it.

  • Kassa

    by Free’Dom on 2/21/24Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Kassa was an impeccable opening act and such a breath of fresh air to hear on the drums! The show was great and the atmosphere was robust!

  • Wonderful Vibe

by David on 2/21/24Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Fourth time seeing them. They haven't come to SoFlo in a bit so I had to go. Solid opening act, straight fire rythyms and power from all performers. The Insect Tribe and their band were on point. Groovy infectious beats. Smooth spitting. They did great cuts from both Reachin' and Blowout Comb. Glad I went and took four brothers that had never seen them. Epic!

  • Digable Planets were amazing!!

by DG on 2/21/24Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Digable Planets were amazing!! Sounded as smooth as they did in the 90's. So grateful to have the opportunity to see them on the reunion tour! Revolution was a fun throw-back, big enough space but not so big that you can't see the bands.
