About

So far evolved from who they were when they first began releasing music in 2017, The Aces deserve the sense of celebration they feel in their new music. With 3 albums, over 250 million streams, and countless other milestones under their belts, sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez (lead vocals/guitar and drums), Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), and McKenna Petty (bass) are in full form working toward their 4th LP Gold Star Baby (out August 15 via SoundOn).

"The Magic" is The Aces "most confident single yet" (Dork Magazine), and with "Jealous" and "You Got Me" as their followup releases, they cement that they have no qualms with being the coolest ones in the room. Continuing to reach new pop heights, the band is rapidly becoming one of the genre's most exciting and authentic voices.

The Aces have toured with the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, X Ambassadors, The Vamps, and COIN, and have played at festivals all over the world, including NY Pride, Lollapalooza, Firefly, Bonnaroo, OUTFEST, Sziget, Pukkelpop and more. During their 2023 headline tour they sold out the international run across the UK, Australia & Japan. In 2024, they opened for Chappell Roan at Kentucky Pride and supported Goth Babe on a US run. So far this summer they have played at Summerfest as they make their way towards All Things Go and a headline tour this fall.

I saw The Aces for the first time back in 2018 when they opened for another band. I finally got to see them in Berkeley on 10/27 and they put on a truly amazing show! Loved them then, love them even more now. Would be awesome to see them in the Bay Area again!

I’ve now seen The Aces twice and can honestly say that no review can truly capture how amazing they are. This group has become such an important piece in my life, I will see them whenever I can.

  • The best impulse purchase I've ever made

by Lia on 10/23/23Summit - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I bought my ticket to see The Aces two days before the show, after getting an ad on instagram for their tour. I recognized the band name from one song I had a brief obsession with a few years ago (Fake Nice, off their debut album "When My Heart Felt Volcanic) , and thought I'd check them out. I had no idea how incredible and brilliant this band would turn out to be, and how absolutely hard they rock at their live shows. To say my expectations were exceeded would be an understatement. The stage presence, the chemistry between the band members, the genuine smiles on each of their faces, and the MUSIC- while their recorded material is exceptionally well produced, witnessing them perform live is a whole other experience. The energy of love, acceptance, and queer joy that they cultivated at the Summit theater was nothing short of beautiful. That energy is something that can only be created by genuine love for music, artistry, and each other. Having never seen The Aces perform, live or recorded, my initial impression watching them last week was that they operate like one living thing on stage. Cristal (lead singer) mentioned while giving a short speech to the audience about her experiences while writing their newest album, "I've Loved You For So Long", she mentioned that she has been in the band with her sister and their best friend since they were ten years old, and that they are the reason that she was able to get out of bed in the morning while she was experiencing some of the worst mental health struggles of her life. That deep, solid connection and mutual love for one another truly shines through in their performances as a band. I feel very lucky to have been able to see them perform at the Summit, because I'm positive that they will blow up and be playing Red Rocks by 2026. And you better believe I'll be first in line to buy tickets to see them when they do.

  • unbelievable

by Wiz on 10/20/23House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

House of Blues is. Pretty much my favorite venue for acoustics in Chicago. (Compare that to Live Nations other owned venue Aragon Ball room where the sound is absolute trash.) The show was absolutely amazing. The Aces couldn't disappoint if they tried. I'm a permanent fan after this performance.

  • One of the best concerts I’ve been in a while!

by Nikki on 10/20/23House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The vibes were immaculate, everybody was having a good time, the aces are so talented it sounded like I was listening to the studio version the whole time, and the opener Carol Ades was so good too! Just an over all fun, great, and gay night :)

  • Oh?? My god??

by MK on 10/16/23Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I wanted to go to a concert with my friend who has never gone to one before and thought The Aces would be perfect, since the crowd wouldn't be rough like my normal taste. I didn't know what to expect, not knowing a ton of their songs, but HOLY !! They put on SUCH an amazing show and I loved all of their energy. I'm so glad that young people have them as representation, and I can't wait till they come back to philly to see them again!

  • Amazing energy and raw talent - The Aces rule!

    by David M on 10/9/23The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I were both blown away by The Aces live! Incredible. . The lead singer prowled the stage like a panther, owning it with the energy f a young Jagger. This band deserves even greater success. Awesome show in a great venue.
