Judas Priest on Tour

British heavy metal powerhouse Judas Priest has released 22 albums over four decades. They laid much of the groundwork for the heavy music of the 80s with their two guitar attack of revved up blues-based riffs They continue to tour, treating metal fans to extravagant live shows and spirited renditions of their unmistakable anthems. Ticket holders are sure to get to a concert early because they don't want to miss Singer Rob Halford's stage entrance. He emerges from a cloud of fog riding on a Harley Davidson, clad head to toe in leather-studded S&M gear. The band released a live DVD of their Epitaph World Tour in May 2013, which well received and features 23 tracks covering most eras of the bands storied career.

Judas Priest in Concert

The group formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England and released their first album in 1974 entitled Rocka Rolla. This was soon to be followed by Sad Wings of Destiny in 1976, which gained the group a wider audience in the UK. The group's next three albums: Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Hell Bent for Leather were released in 1977, 1978 and 1979 respectively, and showed a band evolving its sound into shorter songs that still retained a heavy metal punch. Next came the album British Steel in 1980, which featured "Living After Midnight", "Breaking the Law" and "United" — all earning regular radio play. Point of Entry was released in 1981, followed by Screaming For Vengeance in 1984, which went double platinum. The 2008 concept album Nostradamus found them pushing boundaries by challenging their listeners to consider how "metal" the man of prophetic talents actually was. Over the next four years the band toured relentlessly and they show no signs of letting up, with an impressive schedule of tour dates on the books for 2014.

    73 years young

by Patrick on 5/8/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

During this concert, Rob said he is 73 and age is only a number. He proved that during the show. He moved all over the stage during the entire 18 song set. His voice sounded great for the entire set. Definitely didn’t disappoint!

It was a very Awesome concert.

by Charlie on 5/8/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

All in all the concert was wonderful. The only complaint I had was people moving into seats that was not theirs and blocking other people's views.

Great Rock show from Judas Priest. I loved the energy, from their performance! They played a mixture of their older music, along with several from their new Album, Invincible Shield, opening up with Panic Attack!

Load and fantastic, just as I thought it would be..

by BradLink on 5/8/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

The first time I had seen JP was summer of 1983 on Screaming for Vengeance tour. I was 19 at the time. It's taken me 41 years to get back and man did i wait too long. They are one of my top 3 favorite bands. I miss the guitars of KK and Glen but Faulkner is great. All I can say is if they are around, get to the show...PRIEST RULES..

by Etzman66 on 5/8/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

Outstanding show! Judas Priest brought it on May 5th in Maryland Heights, MO. They hit the stage with their foot on the gas and never let off. Helluva encore as well.

    Awesome show!

by Rockin Ron on 5/8/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

Judas Priest and Sabaton put on a great show! Just like two years ago. Music and riffs sounded great and lead singer belted it out. Halford can still hit the high notes. Awesome concert. These two bands are great live.

Judas Preist = Amazing, venue not so much

    by Skogkatt96 on 5/8/24

The concert itself was absolutely amazing! Sabaton did a fantastic job opening and Judas Priest was amazing as ever! I cannot wait to see them again! Very disappointed in the venue. I paid for close seats only to be overcrowded by people from the back who moved up front to the point I couldn’t actually see the band. This is really irritating when you pay more and have assigned seating.
