I’ve seen Rufus a few times and always a great show! This was the first time swing them at the Pasadena Rose Bow. I was so excited to be in a seated area with a great view of the stage and close too. I got my tickets during presale, all sections sold were for GA meaning with bo assigned seats but assigned sections. When I got to the concert and my section I wasn’t allowed in because it was full so I was told to find an open tunnel to another section. The open tunnel did not have the view I paid for, I couldn’t even see the stage only the side screen. Later on I left to the restroom and was not allowed to come back in to the section because the tunnel and area were full! My friends were there and I was unable to get back in. I had to then find another open section and make my way back to my friends.. a lot of time wasted walking around trying to find an “open tunnel”. There was no point on paying more for a specific section if they were not controlling the crowd. Very disappointing.
One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Rufus is at their of their game and brought a magical performance to the Rose Bowl. Very fortunate to experience such a magical night!!
Not enough bars were available for the pregame. The bag rule doesn’t make sense if we are buying merch. Asking everyone to come early, only to have tons of people just standing in front of your seats blocking your view. But Rufus and Glass Beams were awesome!
The Rufus du Sol show was truly magical. I have had the pleasure of seeing Rufus live before and this way exceeded my expectations and other shows I'd attended! The shuttle service for the venue was definitely longer than expected so we opted to walk from the annex parking to the venue. Other than that, we had no issues.
If you have ever been to a Rufus du sol concert, you know they are next level. Always an amazing time. The BEST
Rufus? Great but I wish it hadn't become standing room only. I blame the venue (Rose Bowl) management, not the band. They must've oversold it to end up so crowded. My "seats"were us standing on the stairs and hoping the crowd behaved. I hadn't experienced something like this in years. Did it stop us from enjoying the show? Maybe a little. Would've been better to be able to dance instead of shimmy on the stairs as people pushed past every couple minutes.
I drove 6 hours that Saturday just to see Rufus at the Rose Bowl. I was already exhausted, and dealing with the long shuttle lines to the venue only made things worse. Once we arrived, we saw lines everywhere, and we didn't know which line was for what. The seating situation was just as confusing. We were told to “sit anywhere” within our assigned section, but there was no real organization. Seats were filling quickly, and eventually, the entire stadium was packed. Things got even more frustrating during the concert. My friend left to use the bathroom, only to be told by staff that she will not be allowed back in because the venue was “at full capacity.” How does that make sense? We paid to be there. Not being able to take a simple bathroom break is ridiculous. If the venue oversold tickets, that’s on them and not the guests. To be clear, Rufus was incredible, but the crowd control and overall event organization left a lot to be desired. I really hope the Rose Bowl learns from this experience.
Rufus Du Sol had an amazing performance and energy. This is my second time seeing them. The problem is Rose Bowl and the difficulty with shuttles and crowd control.
The venue is huge and can use some help with crowd control however the artists (Rufus Du Sol) were AMAZING, their ending was EVERYTHING!!!!
