Weird Al concert and venue
by Marion from Lake Forest, Ca. on 10/31/25The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5Weird Al is always amazing. I've been going to his concerts for decades and he NEVER disappoints. The concert is a great mix of his oldies and some new surprises. The 5-star rating is for Weird Al - not the venue. The venue - Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - was very disappointing. It is a beautiful venue. but seating is atrocious. They have multiple tiers that are not slanted (that is, not on an incline). We were in the back row of our level/tier, and we had about 6 rows in front of us that were on the same level. Frankly it's ridiculous to try to see the stage through all those rows of people. Even the tall people struggled to see. I would not hesitate to see Weird Al again if the opportunity arose; however, I wouldn't want to go to Rady Shell at Jacobs Park again.
