ZZ Top Concert Schedule
ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
ZZ Top Background
ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.
Awesome concert!! These guys ROCK! One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Great performers! Don't stop performing. You all are on it!!
ZZ Top is still rocking after all these years. Excellent show. Music was as good as it ever was. I highly recommend seeing ZZ Top!
The ZZTop Performance at Harrah's Casino Rincon on 4/26/2024 was absolutely Fantastic! I'm amazed how ZZTop can still perform brilliantly since they started back in 1969.. Super Great!!
They still have it. We had a wonderful time and it was a great show.
The opening act, Mike “The Drifter” Flanigin was the first time we have ever heard him. We really enjoyed them! The guitarist was enjoyable to watch and listen to, McKinley James. ZZTop was in awesome form! All around enjoyable!
ZZ Top band members sounded great and looked great. Elwood Francis slipped right in Dusty Hill’s spot seamlessly. Amazing musicians. Fun fun show! The opening act was amazing as well.
Unique sound …amazing performance well worth the drive to see ZZ Top!
ZZ Top was great!! Billy Gibbons still at the top of his game with his guitar playing and vocals. Thanks for a great time!!
Zz Top was amazing, we enjoyed the music, the show and the venue!
ZZ still has it and they put on a very enjoyable show.
What can I say but they still rock! From start to finish it was a first class show! I am looking forward to the next show.
What can I say but they still rock! From start to finish it was a great show!
We have seen ZZ Top several times, still puts on a good show. We enjoyed them a lot!
Thought both the instrumentals and the vocals were way over driven to the point of distortion with a loss of clarity. It was way short of ZZ Top shows from the past.
Disappointed Again. Just like LA in 1992/93-ish, they only played for 46 minutes. WE KNOW they have at least a good 2-hrs worth of Kick Ass tunes!! At least i can say I've seen them twice! Findlay Center should update their sound system!
I'm limited in my ability to stand for any extended periods of time . . . really bad knees ! Sob story, huh !! Well, as soon as ZZ Top came out on stage . . . EVERYONE in the floor section stood up . . . and remained up for the rest of the show ! The music was great . . . I wish I could have seen the show ! It's no one's fault . . . it's just what is !!
Spectacular show!! And we Loved the opening band The Black Moods!! ⭐️ Amazing Time!!
Loved the concert! They were tight. Billy can sure play guitar.
ZZ Top were fabulous and can still really jam! Their opening band, The Black Moods were also very good! I really enjoyed the smaller venue; not a bad seat anywhere in the house.
Missed DH, Elwood filled in nicely. BG is top 5 in my book.
