ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Worst outdoor venue I’ve ever seen

by RJG on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 2 out of 5

The pool area at Talkingstick casino was a terrible place to try to enjoy the music of ZZ Top. The chairs they set up in the pool area or smaller than an airplane seat. We were all crammed in like sardines. There wasn’t enough room between rows of seats for people to move in and out. Which caused horrible traffic jams as people tried to stand up to let people through, but they were stuck. Also, the aisles were always full of people. It was difficult to move at all. Add the fact that the stage was way too low. You could see nothing not standing, not sitting, not trying to move. I think that’s why the aisles were always full people with seats towards the back. We’re trying to move towards the front and stand in the aisles. If the stage had been four or 5 feet higher views would’ve been much better. The bathroom facilities were located a long ways from the stage. The crowd made it almost impossible to get there. This is not the place to go enjoy music.

Having seen them live for over 50 years, I will keep coming back. It's Billy Gibbons. Always a draw. His voice was shot though. Dusty is not replaceable though. And the giant bass is silly. The venue was lacking. The chairs were made for much smaller people. The walkway between reserved seating was poorly policed and nearly impassable during the break.

  • Worst seats I’ve ever been in

by Don on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 1 out of 5

Worst seats I’ve ever been in anywhere They were like toddler seat seats, every patron or shoulder to shoulder And there wasn’t even really enough room for shoulder to shoulder

  • Great show great venue

  • ZZTop in Scottsdale AZ

by Maniac on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 4 out of 5

The overall concert venue was good, nice outdoor area, with a decent stage. The band was still in good form for being in their 70s. They have slowed down, and the set list was shorter than I anticipated. 75 minutes. It would have been nice to hear a few more of the hits live! But overall a good show, and nice venue.

  • Fantastic, they still have it , what an amazing show!!

by Melanie and Sean on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 5 out of 5

From the opening act to the last minute was very memorable. We sat 4 rows from the front stage and had great seats.

  • Seats were way too small, it was hard to get to it

by John N on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 1 out of 5

I couldn’t stay at my seat because of I was squeezed in on both sides. I went to stand where I was told I could & then got ran out shortly after ZZ took the stage. Where I could stand I couldn’t see. The bass was shaking the stage so it really sounded very bad. I left & will never go there again for a concert.

  • ZZ Top was amazing the venue not so much

by Mr Serenity on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 4 out of 5

For a band that has been around for more than 50 years the late guy’s still rock and give it their all. A full set even if they didn’t play all the songs but then we would have been there till midnight. Simply awesome. My only criticism is The Pool venue. The seats are really close together and are like chairs for a wedding. Everyone had to get up and jostle around constantly as people came and went. There were lots of viewing obstacles whether sitting or standing and if folks stood up even several rows ahead you could not see the stage or the projection screen which was too low. It got to the point that we heard shouting from the audience at others just so they could see, which took away from the fun. I will pass on future acts at this location.

The sound system was fuzzy sounding. The seating was terribly cramped.

Great venue, great music. Enjoyed with friends, section 102. What a fun time.

  • Great show, poor seating

by BarbG on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 2 out of 5

ZZ Top were amazing! They put on a great show but for the first time, I was happy that it was a short concert! The seats at the pool at the Talking Stick Resort were way too small and too close together with very limited space in-between the rows! I'm a smaller person but was forced to "share"my seat with the people on both sides!

  • Disappointed

by Pete C. on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 2 out of 5

50 bucks and a few hours I’ll never get back. The opening act sucked. And it almost took me longer to get out of the parking lot then the show.

  • Good standard show

by CR on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 4 out of 5

They always play a good show, but ‘just enough’, did not play Tube Snake Boogie and other hits in their one hour show

  • Great music, but….

by illinoiz on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 3 out of 5

For a 50+ year old band with approx 20 albums, you would think for the going ticket price these days, they would have played more than 1 hour and 12 minutes. That is TOTALLY unacceptable. I feel cheated. Music (played) was great!

  • ZZ Top Rocks!

by Ron L on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 5 out of 5

What an awesome time watching ZZ Top, They still know how to rock after all these years! Events at Talking Stick are always such a good time, Thx!

  • Talking Stick

by Steve on 11/17/25The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 3 out of 5

Poor quality sound system or the mixer did a terrible job. Taj and ZZ Top were good it’s just a shame the voices were drowned out by the bass and poor clarity of the sound system.

  • Still good!

by Qrhino on 11/17/25Findlay Toyota Center - Prescott ValleyRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top put on a great show as usual! I’m a big fan and they did not disappoint! Arena sound was just right!

Enjoyed how good they sound as well as how cool they still are.

  • Awesome experience

Great performance by Taj Farrant and ZZTOP. Floor seats were great (except I always get stuck behind someone tall, 🤣). Decent prices for tickets.
