Judas Priest on Tour
British heavy metal powerhouse Judas Priest has released 22 albums over four decades. They laid much of the groundwork for the heavy music of the 80s with their two guitar attack of revved up blues-based riffs They continue to tour, treating metal fans to extravagant live shows and spirited renditions of their unmistakable anthems. Ticket holders are sure to get to a concert early because they don't want to miss Singer Rob Halford's stage entrance. He emerges from a cloud of fog riding on a Harley Davidson, clad head to toe in leather-studded S&M gear. The band released a live DVD of their Epitaph World Tour in May 2013, which well received and features 23 tracks covering most eras of the bands storied career.
Judas Priest in Concert
The group formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England and released their first album in 1974 entitled Rocka Rolla. This was soon to be followed by Sad Wings of Destiny in 1976, which gained the group a wider audience in the UK. The group's next three albums: Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Hell Bent for Leather were released in 1977, 1978 and 1979 respectively, and showed a band evolving its sound into shorter songs that still retained a heavy metal punch. Next came the album British Steel in 1980, which featured "Living After Midnight", "Breaking the Law" and "United" — all earning regular radio play. Point of Entry was released in 1981, followed by Screaming For Vengeance in 1984, which went double platinum. The 2008 concept album Nostradamus found them pushing boundaries by challenging their listeners to consider how "metal" the man of prophetic talents actually was. Over the next four years the band toured relentlessly and they show no signs of letting up, with an impressive schedule of tour dates on the books for 2014.

Judas priest is amazing song, writer, performer, And great rock ‘n’ roll! Thank you all support live music!
Saboton opened and had the Charlotte crowd on its feet. Judas Priest was excellent. Rob Halford’s voice still sounds great and Ritchie and Andy carry the dual guitar torch given them by Glenn Tipton.
Like they’ve been for 50 years Judas Priest is a force to be reckoned with. Rob Halford still has the range others can only dream of. Easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.
Sabaton rocked it, great sound and stage show. Judas Priest did as Judas Priest does. Had a great line to set for the show. Played a little of everything.
Amazing concert, great to remember the Judas Priest I heard everyday in the 80’s. Great tour. Rock on!
Halford and Priest sounded great. High energy! Sabaton did great! Crowd was on their feet the entire time and built up perfectly for Judas Priest!
Wasn't familiar with Sabaton but very much enjoyed their performance, the choruses with four men harmonizing in a vigorous sea shanty style compel you to sing along even if you don't really know the words. I've been a huge Judas Priest fan since the mid-80s, so grateful they're still performing and giving their fans the best they've got. Loved hearing deep cut rarities like "Love Bites"and "Saints in Hell."Enjoyed the high tech stage set. We've seen them three times now, all post-"Angel of Retribution,"and Rob Halford seemed to be having the most fun I've ever seen him having on stage. Sure, age has changed his voice, but he can still sing convincing renditions of "Victim of Changes"and "Painkiller,"so what's not to love? Long live Priest!
Saw Judas Priest and Sabaton at Charlotte, first thing is first, to see Rob Halford still rocking at his age is pretty awesome! Now, the honest truth in my opinion… Sabaton was great, they sounded awesome, you could feel the drums and the volume was just right, Judas Priest was loud enough but the sound just was not right. I enjoyed Sabaton from the second the lights came up until they left, I was kind of over Judas Priest after the 4th or 5th song, Sabaton could have been the headliner
Event started on time...both bands were great. Merch was easy to get to. This was my son's first concert and although he was sick it was good.
