To celebrate two decades of 'Give Up' and 'Transatlanticism', The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie have joined forces for an unprecedented 20th anniversary co-headline tour. Each night, Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will pull double duty performing with The Postal Service - comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis - as well as with Death Cab for Cutie (alongside Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The extraordinary live run will see both iconic groups performing their seminal 2003 albums in full.
Great from start to finish, hoping it will come back around again sometime
Both bands sounded very good, but since they played both 2003 albums start to finish Death Cab did not play any of their hit songs which was very disappointing
Ben and the bands sounded great! It was the 20th Anniversary of Death Cab and The Postal Services’ albums, Transalanticsm and Give up. They sounded great live and it brought back many memories listening to both albums live.
I was a huge postal service fan when the album came out and ever since and I never thought I would get to see it performed live. Not only was it a bucket list item checked off for me, but I got to bring my music loving 14 year old niece to experience it and it was awesome
I traveled to Toronto to see The Postal Service—I'm so glad I made the trip! They played the whole Give Up album, and after every song, I said, "That was so good!"I am glad I went. Great job! Our floor seats were great, and the people next to us were so nice.
It was great to see The Postal Service! I’m really lucky I got to see them on their one stop in Canada! Ticket master made it an easy process! I did have someone was better with directions and not familiar with Toronto and it’s transportation than I which made getting around better. But maybe a map of the building would be a good idea for those of us more directionally challenged. Over all amazing experience!
The Postal Service show was great… could not have asked for better. Had a great time and was glad we got to see it! If you get the chance… you need to see this band!
Love the album Transatlanticism and it was beautiful to see it performed live. The performance was great! The light show was weak and the editor responsible for the live video feed shown on the screens appeared to have no clue. Maybe it was their first time hearing the album, lol.
Postal Service hasn’t done many tours so this was one of the first opportunities I’ve had to see them. Both bands playing these touchstone albums was simply magical. Ben Gibbard’s voice (and Jenny Lewis !) keep getting better with time. I went to the show in Sept in Minneapolis- so I knew what to expect but it was still perfect the second time around
Really great show! Bigger production than expected!
