311 in Concert
311 defined the 90s with a style that many bands would come to embrace â folding rap into more traditional forms like alternative rock and reggae. Their early 90s' hits "Down" and "All Mixed Up," tracks that carried their self-titled album to the No. 12 spot on The Billboard 200, introduced the world to an original sound that remains popular today. "Over the past few years, we've realized we're primarily a live band...and we're damn glad for that," said lead singer, Nick Hexum. Their fan base, dubbed the "The Hive", agree because every 311 concert is an intense, trippy and emotional ride. 311's most recent album Universal Pulse reached No. 1 on Billboard's Tastemaker Albums and Independent Albums charts.
With foresight and two decades of solid hits, 311 has turned the police code for streaking in Nebraska into an instantly recognized symbol for the meeting of ska, rap metal and jazz fusion. The band began in Omaha, Nebraska with Nick Hexum, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton, P-Nut and SA Martinez. The band went through several independent releases before signing with Capricorn Records in 1992. Their last album, in 2011, Universal Pulse, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. Since the introduction of their first album Music in 1993, 311 has released Grassroots, 311, Transistor, Soundsystem, From Chaos, Evolver, Don't Tread on Me, Uplifter and Universal Pulse. On every even-numbered year since 2000, the date 3/11 has meant the 3-11 Day Concert, when the band performs an extremely extended set. Fans who bought tickets to 3-11 Day in 2012 saw the band perform 79 songs over two days in Las Vegas. If you're looking for their 2014 album, it will be out on â you guessed it â March 11.
In the summer of 2019, 311 is touring with Dirty Heads for what they said will be a hybrid of "alternative sound and good vibes." The U.S. tour runs July 2-Aug. 20. They will be joined by pop trios Dreamers and Bikini Trill for all shows, with special guest performances by The Interrupters on all but six dates.

They are the best live. I have been to more than 50 shows & I will never stop.
As always, 311 put on an amazing performance! Been to many 311 concerts and they have never disappointed!
311 continues to be simply amazing live. The band is so tight and their mix of energy and chops are incredible. They also do a fantastic job of mixing up their set lists so it's not the same show each night. Of course, on 311 Day they really go deep so while I highly recommend them live anyways, it's a must to attend 311 Day if you are a hardcore fan.
Absolute pure energy from beginning to end both nights!! Truly Livin and rockin 34yrs strong. Even if it isn't 311.. Day go see 311.. whenever you can!!!!
Another great 311 day experience. They never disappoint with their live performances. Everyone should see them at least once. Can't wait to see them again.
311 day is the ultimate fan experience. If you have a chance to see 311 live, you will quickly understand why the fans are called excitables and will be returning for more. The only negative of the 2024 event was the none use of the video screens on top and both sides of the stage. The experience would have been even better than 'unbelievably incredible' đ
The boys put on a great show as usual. I canât get over that they played over three hours on Saturday night and nearly 4 hours on Sunday night. Their live shows are still great after all these years. If youâve not been to a 311 Day, you gotta do it.
If you like live music there has not been a better show over the last 30 years than the product put out by 311. They are a special group and their music is best enjoyed live and by sharing the same space as other excitable ones. The guys are getting older so there might not be that many more opportunities to catch a 311 Day!
311 Day is always an absolute blast of a weekend but this year was off the charts. If you havenât seen 311 live, youâre missing out. My favorite band since 1995 and theyâre still killing it.
Great Show at Dolby Park MGM. Not a bad seat in the house. Played 3hrs with a small intermission. Wish they would have played Large in the Margin though.
Saw them 311 day weekend in Vegas and it was a great show as usual! Great light show also!
Amazing show with an amazing production of lights and sound. Venue was excellent and seats were perfect. Definitely seeing them again!!
Love the energy! Love the music! Love it all! Can't wait to see them again!
One of the best bands to see live, they sound awesome, and they really love there fans
Overall 311 was great to see live, I definitely would love to see then again. The only issue I had was that thus was the quietest concert I've ever been to. I have heard from other people that Ocean Casino in AC had low audio. If the concert was louder I would have given 5 stars, audio was crisp and clear but low. If you like quiet concerts Ocean Casino may be the place for you. If you like great sounding bands 311 is the band for you.
Attended my 38th 311 show and was lucky enough to get center rail! 311 rocks! â€ïž
For my first visit to the Mohegan Sun I was very impressed with the casino itself and then the concert hall continued with that trend. Acoustically it pass the test and 311 is also amazing live but unfortunately the security were overzealous and were even bullying concert goers. I saw a guy kicked out for dancing in place and I was younger by two security guards because like where I was standing. You will never see fist fights at a 311 show so these kinds of bouncers are not needed and can railroad a show
311 was AWESOME! (As they always are). I just wish that we knew there was a headlining act that went on before them. Sitting on Stacy was not listed on Ticketmaster's website or 311's website as headliner for the tour.
Iâve listened to 311 since I was a teenager. It was an amazing experience to finally see them in concert! Even better than I expected đđ»đđ»
311 is a very talented and eclectic band. A unique combination of Rock and Reggae. I highly recommend seeing them
