About
Formed in Fargo, North Dakota, the a cappella group The Blenders consists of Tim Kasper, Ryan Lance, Darren Rust and Allan Rust. The foursome first won a following playing colleges and universities in the early ‘90s, releasing their debut album, Totally Whipped, in 1993. Other highlights include the fan-favorite 1997 Christmas album Nog and the group's major-label debut Loveland in 1999, featuring the hit track "(I Am in Love With the) McDonald's Girl." The group has also found success performing on national television shows, including The Arsenio Hall Show and NBC's The Today Show. More recently, the group recorded two more Christmas albums, 2004's Holiday Best, which quickly found its way onto the Billboard charts, and 2005's Most Wonderful Time. Currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Blenders continues to write and record new music and tour the country.

The reason they keep doing these shows year after year is summarized by Pentatonix: "that's Christmas to me." For many of us it's the same. It just isn't Christmas until Ralphie shoots his eye out, Linus reads the nativity story, Hans Gruber falls off the top of Nakatomi Plaza, and I have taken my family to the Blenders Christmas Concert. So much better than the Nutcracker.

Each concert gets better and better & puts the Christmas spirit into my heart more than anything else! Even after 27 years together, they sing, dance, and ALWAYS refuel my emotions about family and love. Go Blenders! Can't wait to see them next year in concert during the Christmas season!

The show was a wonderful mix of Christmas, Holiday, Winter, Motown and Rock, performed both a cappella and band backed. The band was great, too! THANK YOU, guys, for a fun experience we'll treasure forever. In fact, we want to make it an annual event. PLEASE don't retire any time soon!
