About

Formed in Fargo, North Dakota, the a cappella group The Blenders consists of Tim Kasper, Ryan Lance, Darren Rust and Allan Rust. The foursome first won a following playing colleges and universities in the early ‘90s, releasing their debut album, Totally Whipped, in 1993. Other highlights include the fan-favorite 1997 Christmas album Nog and the group's major-label debut Loveland in 1999, featuring the hit track "(I Am in Love With the) McDonald's Girl." The group has also found success performing on national television shows, including The Arsenio Hall Show and NBC's The Today Show. More recently, the group recorded two more Christmas albums, 2004's Holiday Best, which quickly found its way onto the Billboard charts, and 2005's Most Wonderful Time. • Terrific showmen having a great time

Gotta love the special connection they have with their audience, many of whom have been following them for literally decades. I first saw them perform at "Cornstalk"at Concordia College back in 1989! (Um, I was, ah, two at the time. Yeah, let's go with that. I was an extremely precocious toddler.) They are still just as fun to watch, and just as enjoyable to listen to.

  • Very enjoyable performance

by TCS on 12/18/24Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The Blenders put on a wonderful show - their voices and song choices were a joy to listen to. I would agree with some past reviewers that the volume level of the band, particularly the drums, often overpowered the sound of the singing, which was what I went to hear. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

I have been going to see the Blenders for over 20 years. I cannot say enough about this concert. It is by far the best Xmas concert you will ever see. I love the traditional songs and the talent on that stage is outstanding. I have taken friends, family, and employees to this concert. I can’t wait until next year to see them again.

We had seats up close and the show was too loud initially, but we settled in and seriously enjoyed it. Twelve Day’s of Christmas is particularly funny and we loved it!! A Holiday Tradition for sure!!’
