Formed in Fargo, North Dakota, the a cappella group The Blenders consists of Tim Kasper, Ryan Lance, Darren Rust and Allan Rust. The foursome first won a following playing colleges and universities in the early ‘90s, releasing their debut album, Totally Whipped, in 1993. The group has also found success performing on national television shows, including The Arsenio Hall Show and NBC's The Today Show. More recently, the group recorded two more Christmas albums, 2004's Holiday Best, which quickly found its way onto the Billboard charts, and 2005's Most Wonderful Time. I’ve been a Blenders fan since my college days and try to attend a show each year. This year, much like the past 20+, we left smiling, laughing, cheering and singing along. Amazing harmonies and so much fun! The Blenders show gives everyone holiday spirit. Here’s to another 30 years!!

    Amazing show, great family experience

by GisNik on 12/17/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

It wouldn't be Christmas without the Blenders involved in our annual tradition. Great music, raw talent, wonderful performers. People working the event were kind and helpful. Had a larger refreshment order and the bartender/concessions guy helped me being the order to our seats!

    Spectacular!

    by L. V. on 12/15/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I first started to listen to the Blenders when I heard the "Wake up with Fox 9" jingle. Since then I have been to most every concert!! The show was absolutely fabulous and loved hearing some of the former numbers. I'm never disappointed!! Even got a hug from Darren at the meet and greet!!

    Not A-Cappella

by Tuck on 12/15/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

Very disappointed, heard these guys years ago at the MN zoo when they truly were A Cappella, not this time! There was a full band and they were loud drowning out their voices and harmonizing. We left at intermission. Theater was very nice and would certainly attend another event there.

    Great show with great music.

    by J. M. on 12/21/18Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I think it is time for them to retire the 12 days of Christmas routine. Perhaps they should go back and do the Folkers. It may be time for them to update their dance moves as well. Just seem a little repetitive. Having said that the real reason you go to the show is their awesome music!!

Great show except it was migraine inducing...

    by J. L. on 12/18/18Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I have been going every year since 2013. It’s pretty much the same as far as the songs, the choreography etc., they throw in a few new numbers here and there. This year, the spot lights and stage lights were overkill. Usually we have had balcony seats so we didn’t have this issue before. This year we had floor seats and I was blinded. I spent most of the show having to look down or away. I have glaucoma so the intense lights brought on a horrible migraine. I think I’ll skip next year.

    What a Show!

by Dan H on 12/18/18Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

Wow! This was the first time I had seen them and really head them. Prior to the concert I had listened to only 3 or4 of their songs online. I was blown away by their talent, They have taken old favorite Christmas songs and rearranged them so they sound brand new to a new fan. I will definitely go back and see them again. A new fan for life!

    Best concert this year

    by J. R. on 12/18/18Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I took 3 people who had never seen them before. They loved them. I have not seen this in 24 years, they are still a consistently amazing, up lifting show.

The blenders are flawless in their harmonies!

    by L. V. on 12/18/18Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

This is the 4th time I've seen them, but I have to say I prefer a cappella alone. The Friday night performance just had the band to loud and overshadowed the quality of the singers. Had people around me say that too. So hopefully if the volume of the band can be cut back and let the vocals be the highlights, i can hear their harmonies better and get back to when I heard them years ago.

Another Fabulous show by a Great Group

by TeaSqueezie on 12/15/17Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

The Blenders deliver without fail. New music coupled with classics, fun, and teasing Ryan about his sparkly shoes. Great job you four (and the wonderful band members)! See you again next year!

    Great as Ever

by LongTimeBlendersFan on 12/14/17Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

Wonderful Holiday show with several new songs and many new arrangements! The guys are always so delightfully fun and energetic and deliver those tight harmonies we look forward to every December... Their new CD Holy Night is amazing - a great addition to the already extensive collection Our Christmases would not be the same without The Blenders...

    I'm conflicted....

by dklat on 12/13/17Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

We saw The Blenders several years ago during their annual Christmas show. Back then, their show was primarily A cappella - which is their forte. We were quite disappointed this year - they have become is a very loud - too loud - rock band. When the Blenders did turn to A cappella - it was amazing. They are so talented - they don't need to hide behind the loud instruments. Their A cappella arrangements are spot on and we just don't understand why they don't stick to what made them great in the first place. We were tempted to stop by the sound engineer on our way out and ask him why this was so loud - in some songs it was hard to hear the singing over the drumming and bass guitar. The Pantages Theater is a nice small venue and it is just a shame that The Blenders have turned their back on their wonderful A cappella talents. We will not return next year.

    Great Holiday Tradition!

by EastEnderFan on 12/13/17Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

My friend and I have an annual tradition of seeing these guys. Their mix of acapella, pop and soul is amazing. I also look forward to their hysterical version of ‘ The 12 Days of Christmas’
