Ruger is an Afro-dancehall pioneer who is known for his unique look, which features a pirate-esque eyepatch and neon-pink hair. Ruger's meteoric rise from the underground to dominating the Nigerian music scene began with 2021’s “Bounce. “Bounce” led to Ruger’s debut EP, PANDEMIC, a nationwide tour across Nigeria and eventually sharing a stage with Burna Boy at the O2 Arena in London. Ruger’s hotly-anticipated debut album, RU The World, was released in September 2023, with NME describing it as a “quest to push Afrobeats towards a bold new frontier.” The album features star-studded collaborations with Sauti Sol, Govana and Stefflon Don, among others.

He has great stage presence and he sang the jams. Yes, he has the segment with the females, they are consenting adults. Im probably what the kids consider an old head, but whatever. He gets right back to his songs and it was crunk. Ruger says what he's about, as for me, his beats HIT and im playing his stuff even more almost 2 months after the show. If he comes back to NY, my bro and i already decided we're there!
Ruger delivered an excellent performance. He has the stage presence, vocals and personality. I enjoyed every song and was on my feet during his entire set. He was very professional with appropriate. As a therapist, I loved that he asked for age verification for all the women he brought on stage. This exhibits his self awareness of the laws and protecting his brand. Wonderful show team, y’all should be proud of your investment in Ruger.
Super fun concert Ruger is a great performer, this is definitely an 18+ event though!
The crowd was live! Ruger was very engaging and he actually sang! That boy could singgggg! I just love how he interacts with the crowd! Had us engaged from start to finish.
Show started ON TIME!!! Opening acts were entertaining. DJ_Prince definitely set the vibe and had the venue rocking. Ruger is a great performer and an amazing singer. The experience was 10/10! For future shows, i think Ruger’s team should consider having a live band. That will take his shows to another level.
I didn’t like the opening artists much and it took too long for Ruger to get on stage but it was all good once he did.
it was his first show in the US in boston, and i’ll do it over and over again 🩷🩷🩷 i need to see him again
