About

Since quietly paving a lane out of Atlanta, Gunna has consistently altered the sound, structure, and very shape of hip-hop, accelerating its future in the process. Born Sergio Kitchens in College Park, GA, the diamond-selling superstar has shaken popular culture, redefining "drip" for a generation, giving "P" a place in the lexicon, and eternally ingraining himself in the conversation. He crossed the unbelievable distance from humblest of beginnings to performances on Saturday Night Live and two spots on former President Barack Obama's Playlist. He has reeled in billions of streams, scored dozens of multi-platinum, platinum, and gold plaques, and garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations. Ascending to the forefront of the game, he earned a rare diamond certification for the seminal Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 smash "Drip Too Hard" with Lil Baby. He notched two consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard 200 with Wunna [2020] and DS4Ever [2022]. Hailed as "a worthy escapade" by Rolling Stone, the latter marked his highest first-week sales tally to date and yielded the platinum-certified internet-breaking "Pushin P" [feat. Young Thug] with Future. Not to mention, "Pushin P" received GRAMMY® Award nods in the categories of "Best Rap Performance" and "Best Rap Song." Beyond standout sets on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel LIVE, his rarity and artistry separates him from the rest which allows him to ascend musically. He only maintained this momentum in 2023 with the release of his latest album a Gift & a Curse. The album notably marks his fourth straight #1 debut on both the Top R&B Hip-Hop/Albums Chart and Top Rap Albums Chart. Additionally, a Gift & a Curse serves as Gunna's fourth consecutive Top 3 debut on the Billboard 200. The album also features fan favorite, breakout single "fukumean," which is now RIAA certified platinum. With more music and major moves on the horizon, Gunna will continue to change the culture forever.

    by gabeoffx on 11/13/23

I’ve never seen gunna before his LA show and man all i gotta say is hats off to him, he’s an amazing performer, had amazing stage setup, presence, visuals everything was great, sound even stopped workin at same point and instead of leaving early like most artist would he went into the crowd for pictures and then STILL continued his show all the way through. Gots to see gunna again fosho!

    !Best performer!

    by 2ss_Gorge on 10/1/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

Gunna knows how to hype up a crowd wether it’s with the people he chooses to open up for him or with the performance he does, I had front row seats and they were worth every dollar, gunna interacted with his fans and played songs that had the whole venue singing at the top of their lungs; I’m for sure gonna go to more Gunna concerts.

    Spectacular Comeback

by peter on 10/1/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

This was my very first Gunna concert and this was a mandatory thing i had to go to because I am such a big fan of him and his work and due to his whole situation, I feel like it was only right to experience his artistry in person and see how talented of an artist he actually is. The entire concert from start to finish was performed with a live band rather than just having the track play in the background. The visuals were also amazing. Only downside to the show was that it had started almost two hours later than initially stated and there were technical difficulties halfway through the show but other than that, it was a solid event.

    Gunna was impeccable

by Shlatty on 10/1/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

Easily one of the best rap shows I’ve ever been too. Gunna sounded phenomenal, the band was amazing, and the place was poppin. The venue had some sound issues and the show had to be paused for about 10 minutes, but fortunately Gunna came back out and finished the set. Gunna didn’t miss a single note or bar. What a night. SHLATTY!

    Great show - shotty sound

    by Talex357 on 10/1/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

Best produced show I’ve been to in a while. The set, the visuals, the energy - they were all five star. There were only two issues. First, people were seated in the wrong seats and when the actual ticket holders showed up, the people seated in the wrong seats didn’t want to move. When the seating attendants were called over, they basically told the people who purchased the seats, “well I guess you have to sit somewhere else” which was unprofessional and inappropriate. Overall those were the two words I’d use to describe all the staff I encountered at YouTube theater. Second, the sound was crackling at the apex of the show, which hurt the vibe and performance. There was a 10-15 minute delay to get the sound fixed. It was eventually fixed but I thought it was really unprofessional of the YouTube theater since they opened the doors late to supposedly practice longer, which shortened the openers time on stage. Also there were some significant gaps between the openers and then Gunna that defeated the purpose of having openers in the first place. It was at least 5-10 minutes between the first and second opener and then 10-25 between the last opener and Gunna.
