Releasing his debut mixtape Captain Hook in late 2018, Shordie crafted nine tracks of experimental trap ballads that deal with themes of romance gone wrong. The record’s lead single, ‘(Betchua) Bitchuary’ gave the rapper his mainstream breakthrough: going viral across America, the track hit 100k views in a matter of weeks, leading to opening slots for Ja Rule and Shoreline Mafia and endorsements from famous names across US pop culture: DJ Mustard, 03Greedo, Slim Jimmi and Todd Gurley have all voiced their approval. As Shordie’s online following grows exponentially – the video for ‘(Betchua) Bitchuary’ has reached 19m views and counting – he continues to work on his forthcoming project while taking his electrifying live performances across the US and beyond.
Baltimore-based hip-hop artist Shordie Shordie is cut from the same cloth as Lil Uzi Vert: eccentric, flamboyant and unapologetically unique, his persona is as vibrant and magnetic as his music. An inventive lyricist with a talent for crafting hooks that stick in the memory for months at a time, he’s earned the nickname Captain Hook, a testament to his unrivalled melodic abilities. Prior to its release, his debut project of the same name was eagerly anticipated by a broad and devoted online fanbase that follows his every move: regularly uploading teaser snippets of tracks, he built an electrifying hype surrounding the project that speaks to his swiftly growing popularity.

He was just great and the whole night was a vibe. Glad I got to meet him.
Meeting shordie shordie at the Gramercy theatre was one of the best experiences I had in my life. The venue was clean and well organized shordie shordie was interactive and happy to see his fans.
No energy with music. The other artist (MoneyMarr), didn’t even show up.
Loved it. Was engaged with crowd super fun. Would definitely see him again.
Amazing show still stuck in the moment can’t wait to see him again nice venue all around dope show nice lil shindig
It was fun! honestly nothing really to complain about other than he came late then left in an instant without closing. the crowd was lit but people snuck their way to the front and pushed too much. would be great if there was a better set up but other than that it was a fun experience
Usually with tickets anywhere 20-50$ the main performer comes out for 3-5 songs. Shortie came out gave us 1hr of performance was def worth it.
Definitely a whole lot of shoving and pushing!!! People was doing too much in such a small place , they’re definitely should’ve been a limited occupancy
This was the most unorganized Shordie Shordie concert ive ever been to. Ive seen him 3/4 times now at smaller venues and they had more organization during COVID than this one. I upgraded to a VIP ALL ACCÈSS pass at the merch table and they did not give me a VIP experience. Had to argue with security to get my picture with Shordie and then the promoters only charged $75 to upgrade to meet and greet tickets at the door when I had to pay $100. If you’re going to SCAM people make sure you charge the same price for everyone. Will never support this establishment again.
