Stakes room Tavern and the main item on the buffet was hot dog bar. Otherwise, spectacular view of the race track and the Stakes room was great.
I think due to heat, that kind of play a role of not having fun as much I wanted. Other hand the chicken tenders and fries was amazing. I can't forget my watermelon cocktail was 100% amazing.
Program was easy to use and finding tickets was a breeze.
I’ve been to Churchill downs once before but only to the stands to sit. For this event I discovered how huge this place was! The second floor was amazing! There were always helpful workers nearby. They even had people working the elevators and certain doors for everyone! I will definitely be back!

Flew up from Fort Lauderdale for the "party"at Churchill Downs, "Downs After Dark."It was packed with fans that were largely dressed like they were going clubbing or a night on the town. And the roar of the crowd as the horses turned for home was thrilling. The staff at the Downs were oh-so-friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience - the fourth "Downs After Dark"I've been to and I WILL be coming back!
The stadium food was not good the chicken tender and fries were pre-cooked and were just sitting our ready to go and were dry. This type of poor quality food should have been free with a ticket purchase. Otherwise it was amazing. The energy was great. The facilities and bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Jeremiah helped us find our seats and took pics of us he had great customer service!!!!
The night was good. The bands on the Paddock Overlook were good. However, there were way to many kids there. It felt like it was a high school graduation party!
We were in Kentucky for the Bourbon Trail and saw an ad for Downs After Dark at Churchill Downs. It was such a great experience. The horse races were exciting and the live music was good too. I highly recommend going if you're visiting Kentucky!
I took several exchange students and they had a great time. One was even allowed to pet one of the horses. It totally made her night. Our tickets were down near the finish line, and the couple of races that we got to see with the horses running right past us was so exciting for them. We walked all over the venue and everyone was extremely nice and answered their questions. Thank you for a great once-in-a-lifetime experience for these students.
