Excellent musician. Excellent venue. Good price. Excellent parking. Well laid out plan of execution regarding numbers played and tempo. Do it again please.
There's nothing quite like a maestro who's done it all, and who truly enjoys it, and who's still at it. No seats needed! By the middle of the set everyone is up dancing either in the aisle or at their seats, and the band keeps on keeping on. It's obvious they know they're playing with one of the legends of Latin music. None better.
Chucho Valdez and Irakere 50 put on an amazing and joyous performance at the Kupferberg Arts center. Incredibly tight and incredibly loose at the same time, they had you dancing in and out of your seat with your jaw on the floor at the level of musicianship. No merch, no concessions, just top musicians doing what they love, led by an 83 year old master who is still one of the best in the business.
Great show! Loved the music! Great seating! Good vibes!
This show is one of the best I been to in a long time. Chucho Valdes and Band were great. Everything was great. The music was beautiful . The sound system was configured perfectly. I recommend anyone to see Mr. Chucho Valdes.
The talent and music in the room were almost too much to take, but I’d take it anytime! Every musician on the stage was in a class by himself, together they defined greatness. I haven’t seen such great piano playing since decades ago, when I saw Eunice Black in the same theatre. Rubies was almost 100, so Chu Chu has a long way to go. May he Live long, and prosper.
Church Valdez was great! Nice crowd and the show was fantastic!
Loved the improve at the end of the show. Bacalao! Lleva papas!!! Loved it!
The music was fabulous of course. My only complaint was how the piano was positioned. Saw mostly Chucho's back. May have been so he could see the musicians. But overall a great experience.
