BRANDI CARLILE IN CONCERT:
Alt-country sweetheart Brandi Carlile has crowned Billboard's Top Folk Albums chart twice since her 2005 debut, and it's easy to see why as she performs her heart-rending tunes in concert. Carlile is a world-class belter, and the perfect way her voice cracks when she goes big makes visceral tunes like "The Story" and "The Eye" all the more powerful. Country and folk are squarely in her wheelhouse, but she also dabbles in styles as diverse as rock, R&B, and blues, making for a dynamic concert experience anchored by her elegant songwriting and emotive voice. Whether she's performing songs from 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter or making jaws drop with her soaring cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Carlile never fails to impress ticket buyers with her poise, gorgeous voice, and good-natured stage presence.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brandi Carlile was born and raised in rural Washington state, where she began performing with her mother and brother at age eight. She taught herself to play guitar, and by her teens she was penning her own songs and singing backup for an Elvis impersonator. By her twenties she was performing in Seattle's music scene with her twin brothers, and in 2004 she signed with Columbia Records. Her self-titled 2005 debut topped Billboard's Folk Albums chart, introducing fans to her powerful voice and heart-on-sleeve songwriting. She teamed up with legendary producer T Bone Burnett for her 2007 sophomore album The Story, with stellar results -- the album peaked at No. 10 on the rock charts and scored a breakthrough hit with its title track. Since then Carlile has toured extensively and released four more acclaimed albums including 2011's Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony and 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter.

Love Brandi!!! Her show brought me to tears. So beautiful and hearing her stories with the songs made them so meaningful. Her duet with her wife doing closer to fine was absolutely incredible! The venue of the tilles center was perfect! The sound was unbelievable.
Brandi Carlile gave a wonderful performance. What a dynamic singer/songwriter, especially for a solo show. Left me wanting more.

I travelled across the globe having paid $thousands to see my idol Joni Mitchell, only to find that we had NO view of the performance. Totally unacceptable. I would never trust Ticketmaster. I can't get anyone to respond to my complaints. Unethical behaviour
It took quite a bit of effort to make the trip but it was 100% worth the time and expense, a once in a lifetime experience. Transcendent.
Run do not walk to see Brandi and her merry band! Although a skinny version of the band - three part harmony was on display in all its glory! They even performed one song without electricity! A totally fun time!
Brandi Carlile was incredible. Her voice sounds better live than on tape, which is so rare! She seems like a wonderful person too. The only issue I had with the concert was the high temperature in the Count Basie Theater. Otherwise it was a memorable performance.

Brandi, Tim and Phil are beyond talented and a night of acoustic harmonies blew our minds. Danny Clinch was a great surprise! The Count Basie theater is a gorgeous venue and the staff is fantastic. The crowd was so into it as well. I only wish that time stood still so the music never ended.
An intimate venue to see an intimate performer. What a remarkable voice - so expressive and soul touching.

What an incredible concert! The HighWomen need to put out another album...they were fabulous. Excellent musicians and singers. It was a perfect night. The Gorge Venue (my first time there) is stunning, and the organizers have things super organized to manage the large crowds that attend....very impressed. We had a beautiful night and could not have asked for anything better. And Tanya Tucker....well, this lady has her groove back...she still has a great voice and is an entertainer....she gave us a fabulous performance as well.
Brandi outdid herself in orchestrating 3 evenings of delight and wonder. Stellar performances by everyone that wowed the audience time and again. Do we really have to wait for another year??
Waited and hoped for so many years to see Joni once more on stage. My life is filled with her music, songs and words. So this was true magic, not only by her performance, but the way the Joni "Jam' supported and carried her in every aspect really moved me. It was a beautiful evening, and has filled my heart and soul.

Brandi Carlile and her band guve the best live performance ever. The energy, positive vibes, and sheer talent made this experience unforgettable. The venue is uniquely beautiful. Not easy terrain to navigate but so worth it.
Shocked because I had no idea that our tickets ended us up where we did! Mama T & The Highwomen et al.(!!!!) helped me on a turnaround in my life. Wonderful neighbors and gracious folk all about. Simply a WOW & a thankyou! (I secretly hoped that maybe a part of Soundgarden would join, also Allison Russell... and, yahoo!). You are all so amazing!
