  • long and strange

I kept waiting for something great--for real entertainment. But it just didn't happen for me. Lots of drums but no real music. Lots of acting, but no plot. Lots of paint, but no real picture. The show has been around for a long time, so apparently a lot of people like it. I thought it would have made a nice entre-act or intermission.

  • A SHOW NOT TO MISS!

  • Not worth the hype

by Kat on 6/14/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Including the beginning announcements and the ending cast reveal and bows, it lasted 1½ hours, when it was written up as a 2-3 hour show. It appeared as if it was being rushed as the entertaining could have been slowed down (ie: the marshmallow tossing was done very quickly, when it could have seemed like they were trying to get it "just right"). It was entertaining but not worth the high cost of the tickets. We felt robbed of what could have been a better experience.

  • For the Immature/Kids

by PB on 6/14/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

It was very absurd, but the very young kids-20 something's thought it was funny. Not recommended for adults.

  • I wanted to see this badly.

by Howard on 6/14/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I was unable to keep this appointment to see the Blue Man Group because I purchased for June 11, and wanted it for June 12.

Blue Man has stood the test of time. We took our kids 20+ years ago and took our niece (age 9) last weekend. Still cool, funny and fun for all. Thanks Blue Men!

  • Interactive Fun!

by Toronto Travels on 6/5/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great! Second time I’ve seen it. Fiancé’s first time, and he got picked to go onstage. Crazy how talented and fun the actors were, great for families or older audiences. Definitely check it out.

  • So good!

I had seen Blue Man Group 20 years ago, yet taking my daughter proved to be a whole new - and equally engaging - experience! Crazy sounds, sights, and overall fun! Truly unique performance art.

  • Fun overall

by Jody on 6/2/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I brought my family of 4 to see the show. Over $400 was too expensive in my opinion. I purchased poncho seats hoping for some excitement for my children. It was not exciting and we did not get wet in row F. The show was funny. We all found the pipe routine got a little boring. Overall it was a fun experience. I wish we sat in the less expensive seats.

  • Amazing sound wish we could have seen the stage

by Dbryer on 6/1/22Cross Insurance Arena (Formerly Cumberland County Civic Center) - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

The sound was amazing but the seats that they sold us and a lot of others could not see the stage as the view was blocked by the speakers. We had section E row 13 seats the only seat in this section that could see the stage was seat 16 the rest of the seats could not. The 1.5 hour delay in the start of the show and some how it ended right on time was also a great trick.

  • Amazing for kids

by Jerrilyn on 6/1/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

You can enjoy with or without the kids . So much fun . Must go!!!!

  • Ehhhhh

by Ally on 6/1/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Funny but not epic. I saw BlueMan group 15years ago in Las Vegas and it was amazing! Larger than life! I hoped my now 9 and 11y old sons will have the same experience in New York but it was not similar. Is BlueMan Group over?
