  • Disappointing

by DS on 9/19/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

If you are not accompanying the kids, the show isn't worth it. It is strictly for children aged 10-12, not for adults, and should be clearly stated in the advertising. Producers just wasted the huge potential of the story.

Amazing show. So artistic, full of life and energy. I was moved to tears on three occasions. An experience I will never forget.

  • Fantastic show, not so great seats.

The show was amazing!! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because of our seats. We were in LC row 6 and it wasn’t the best view for the show. I won’t ever sit there again, but I Would go see the Lion King anytime. The actors were phenomenal!

We sat at the very back row and were still blown away!

Great experience! Definitely worth going to and watching. Such creativity in how the animals were done and the African singing was incredible! Would highly recommend!

  • Disapointed

by Thebee on 9/15/25Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Hearing from those who saw it in New York I was expecting an exceptional evening. The costumes were amazing, the music beautiful. Here is where it's not so good. When the actors were speaking you could hear their words clearly, but as soon as music started it drowned out their voice to the point you didn't understand what they were saying. So visually excellent but the audio was terrible.

  • Amazing evening

This show was incredible, I was not sure how this show was going to mimic the Lion King movie. I was wowed with puppetry, the back drops, the stage props and drawn in to the story by the amazing talent of the actors. It was an amazing evening!

  • Good

by Shirley on 9/14/25Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Our seats were at the very back of the theatre. I was unable to hear the details in the music or see the show well from our seats so I was disappointed. I wish I knew what it was going to be like from those seats. I wouldn’t do that again. If I had known, I would have purchased different seats.
