  • Not like the first time

by RW on 7/16/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 3 out of 5

First of all, including the encore this July 12, 2022 Jackson,Mississippi performance was only one hour and 15 minutes long. Secondly, it just didn’t compare to the first time I saw the Blue Man group which was in Orlando, Florida. The first three acts were especially uninteresting. The middle acts were very good but the final three or four acts were average.

  • Blue Man Poop

by MississippiJim on 7/16/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 2 out of 5

Not sure what I was expecting but they didn’t impress us. A total of 6 of us went and we were like, we paid $65/ticket for this! Skits were not funny or entertaining. I just knew at some point with all the drums I would recognize some beats, but nothing to really get the crowd energized. For the money we paid it was not worth it. Maybe should only charge $20 per ticket and it would have been tolerable.

  • Extremely dissapointed

by Onechancefancy on 7/15/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 1 out of 5

There was never a climax to any portion of the show. Some was still high school ish “magic”. We could only bear to stay halfway through.

  • Show was great, Thalia Mara Hall was HOT!!

by Susan on 7/15/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great with lots of audience participation but Thalia Mara Hall was so hot….almost unbearable.

  • Colorful Fun!

by DJ on 7/15/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 5 out of 5

Blue Man Group did not disappoint! The show was fun and made all of us laugh. The music was excellent and the crowd interactions were fabulous! If they come back to town we will see them again for sure! I highly recommend this for all age groups and don’t be late… they will call you out for it!

  • It was meh…

by Kat Lvr on 7/15/22Thalia Mara Hall - JacksonRating: 2 out of 5

The show was underwhelming. It was ridiculously hot in the theater. Not worth the money.

  • Like nothing else you will ever see!

by BarMarr on 7/15/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

When we arrived, we wondered what on Earth our friend had recommended! But it was certainly a very fun and absorbing experience! We loved it! Like nothing else I’ve ever seen in my life!

  • Not the same show

    by J. R. on 7/13/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

The show itself was okay. I took my 10 year old to see the show, it was his first time. He enjoyed it so that made the show somewhat worth it. But, the show and overall experience was not worth big price tag. The show now seems slow and boring. I actually fell asleep and I was in the front row. Aside from being loud the show was just meh. I guess because of covid they no longer sell the painting they make. They used to make 2 and give one away and sell the other. The other sad part is that they no longer pose for pictures after the show ( also probably because of covid). That used to be the highlight of the whole show. Overall, I'd give the Blue Man Group a solid "2". The show just doesn't justify the high ticket price. We went on a Saturday at 2pm and it was almost empty. They closed the mezzanine and moved the people from there to the main floor and it was still barely half full!! I think the Blue Man Group has run it's course.

  • Interaction

by Opa on 7/12/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I’ve been coming to Boston Blue Man Group off and on for 20 years. The first few rows expect to get wet. It’s a tradition. Didn’t happen. I’ve seen 3 year olds throw marshmallows better. I liked the show, but it wasn’t your best. PS. Really missed the toilet paper.

  • Great Show!

by JD on 7/12/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 3rd time seeing it in the last 20 years. Each time has had plenty of new material to keep me interested. A fun time for the whole family

  • Blue Man Group is EXCELLENT!!!

by Debbie on 7/11/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The Blue Man Group show was excellent! I would recommend Blue Man Group to everyone, young & old. It's hilarious and they don't say a word and the music is awesome. Dealing with ticketmaster is another story. Nothing good to say about Ticketmaster but it is the only way to get the tickets for the awesome show.

  • Great Show, Totally Unexpected

by Roy Kent on 7/11/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Was blown away by the unique combination of artistry, percussion and improvisation used in the show. A commendation to all members of the team.

  • Enjoyed the act

by Blue Man group on 7/10/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Was a fun night. Too many kids in the audience for me, but other that the 5 and below kids (who loved the show btw) it was great. They were just squeezing with delight a bit to much for me. Shows I'm getting old lol

  • It was a unique experience

by DJGarden on 7/9/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

You have to see the blue man grup!!! Really recommend!

  • Such fun

by Mamacitakess on 7/6/22Astor Place Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

How these aliens got away from me for 40 years I know not. Whatever made me decide to take my son was a fortunate choice. Absolutely marvelous. I knew if it stayed around for that long it must be good. Many children in the audience made me wish that I had brought my sons when they were younger. Bad mother. But there is always time. Love covers a multitude of sins. See the Blue Men.

  • Hell ya

by Bob on 7/6/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was phenomenal. High energy with great music and funny antics. If you decide to not wear your poncho, like I did, you will become a taget. I was right up front and intentionally got drenched, and I loved every second of it.

  • Bright Blue

by Kuz on 7/5/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Non stop fun. Great musicians. Audience participation was cool. Gay wedding predictable:( A majority of folks aren’t gay so appealing to a minority is not the best marketing. Overall, we would go again.

  • Fantastic

by Kathleen on 7/5/22Charles Playhouse - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We got tickets in a whim. The humor and drumming was perfect for a 16 yr old and his mom. We laughed and enjoyed the percussions and all the antics and talent that went with it. Their interaction with the audience was endearing. It was a very good show. We would go again.

  • was okay

by Sheree on 7/5/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

it was okay I was expecting more for what I saw on YouTube when watching videos on the blue man group. I was a little disappointed in the show. To me it was very low quality from what I was expecting. They did a nice show but for the price I paid I was expecting more.

  • Lots of fun

by Sarah on 7/5/22Briar Street Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The whole family laughed the whole time and had tons of fun. Get ready for water and/or paint in the first 4 rows (but that's half the fun). Don't sit on the aisle unless you're prepared possibly to be taken on stage to be part of the act. Highly recommend.
