  • Great Artists! We’ll organized! Wonderful experience!

by Lorna on 8/31/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

This was a terrific festival! It was so well organized and staffed. There were a number of complicating factors, like arranging transportation for thousands of people spread out on the island and coming from off the island, but they did it. The music was great! Having two sound stages made the transitions between acts seamless. There was one issue with the sound being too loud and distorted (Beck) or too soft (Emmy Lou Harris). Otherwise, the sound was great. The only act that a lot of the patrons seemed not love was Bully. But maybe get a few more female-based bands next year. I will be there!

  • Beach Road Review

by Jeff C on 8/31/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

A wonderful festival that was incredibly well organized. Great collection of bands with super headliners each evening. Plenty of fan friendly facilities but not happy with $10 for a 12 ounce beer. Overall, a grand time was had by all

  • Perfect weekend!

by SJ on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

We went all three days, plenty of space to walk around and talk with old friends and new and get several nice food options, cold beer etc. But also easy to walk right up front and see the bands up close. We danced for hours abs hours and had the best weekend of the summer!

  • Poorly run

by Dano on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 3 out of 5

Although the line up of acts was great. There were major problems with the sound. And there were no defined lanes for walking. People were allowed to put down blankets anywhere. Not enough supervision. Also they were not prepared for heavy rain and had to cancel acts. Missed out on Sammy Rae

  • Beach Rd Wknd

by Lindy on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing music. Good food. Why not local beer? No shade and very hot. Great freebie booze tastings. Plenty of free water at hydration stations. Nice people.

  • Great Festival

by Chris L on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

Operationally excellent, top-notch festival with a remarkable collection of acts in 2022. Ongoing communication by text and email kept attendees on top of things. And, of course, any chance to spend time on Martha's Vineyard is bonus. Looking forward to next year!

  • BRW from an islander's POV

by M'sha on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 4 out of 5

Nice to see this here--hope it continues! Music and bands were all fantastic--site was great, even after the rain of Friday night. Food and vendors were awesome too. Shuttle/Bus service was a complete bust. Nobody had a clue what was going on. Waste of $, and didn't use it after Friday night. Hire more islanders for help--too many staff people had no sense for the place or its geography.

  • Wonderful Event

by Scott M on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

very well run event with an amazing line up in an amazing setting. the logistics ran as smoothly as could be expected, including dealing with a flooded venue! this will certainly become an annual adventure/ road trip for our family of eight!

  • Great lineup, beautiful locale

by Ross on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

The organizers did an awesome job putting this festival on. Plenty of facilities, food vendors, hydration stations, etc. The each day's lineup was fantastic! Good transportation to and from the event. Will definitely come back if the bill is this good again.

  • It was great, but Could have been better…

by Peter on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 3 out of 5

Our very short beach chairs were not allowed in…. But you could buy a much larger/taller chair from the fest and have at it. There was No cover from the Sun except for a lucky few. Common now! You could have done better. Bands were great, food and drink was good but very expensive. Parking should be ample and free, no one likes to walk/ride in the dark or be nickeled and dimed at an expensive event

  • Great time.

by Chuckles on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

Beach Road was fantastic!! The line up was tremendous. The venue was managed perfectly with easy access, lots of water and very clean port a johns. Food was delicious and reasonable. We were there all 3 days and it was so much fun!

  • Good job overall!

by Bonnaroo to MV on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 4 out of 5

CONS: Need more shade, more non alcohol choices (Gatorade, Smart Water...) & planning for emergency evacuation. PROS: No lines at entrance, bathrooms, & great lineup I cannot emphasize enough how lucky this event was when they did not end the show with lightening & thunder in the area. They only had the one exit open when they had everyone leaving. They needed to open all the emergency exits to move the people out with that storm at the location. Overall they did great for a newer festival and limited space. I would go back.

  • Fun

by Captain on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 4 out of 5

The event was very well organized and the music was great, however, the sound was not good. The base was way too muddled and the vocals could barely be heard.

  • Sloppy field

    by M. A. on 8/30/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 3 out of 5

Need to define walkways and viewing areas. Allow foldable camping type chairs.

  • My Comments

by Red on 8/29/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 3 out of 5

The food and drinks were OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive!! There were not enough food choices, either. There were not enough chairs to rent. On a positive note, the music was good with a nice variety to account for music tastes of all ages. That part was well done.

  • Absolutely a great weekend of great music!

by Sarah on 8/29/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

The bands were great and brought the crowd together. My faves: Caamp, Avette brothers, Jason Isbell. And best of all it brought me together with my daughters! One flew back to the island from New Mexico and the other Minnesota! Every service was spot on. I live close by so parking was not a problem Can’t wait for next year’s concert!

  • Great artists - recycle please

by Kimi on 8/29/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the show. Please provide recycle bins next time. And having a stand only (no blankets) up close to the stage area. Sell chairs at the event

  • Great music! Event planners have issues

by Helen M on 8/29/22Veterans Memorial Park - Vineyard HavenRating: 3 out of 5

It was 3 days of great music even tho a storm on Friday night led to a flooded event space that led to a delayed start on Saturday. It was unfortunate that several acts had to be cancelled. We were seriously disappointed that Bahamas were slated to be cut from the show but Dawes and Guster each graciously gave Bahamas an opportunity to play and we were thrilled. We can't say enough about the music, it was tremendous! The music was 5+ stars!!! but there were most definitely event issues and many volunteers were ill informed about transportation. We have a bone to pick with the event planners but I won't air those complaints here.

  • Many thanks

What a gift you have given to the Island. You achieved your goal when the ticket holder cares not what he paid, job well done.
