Alberta Ballet thrills and inspires audiences with unparalleled productions. As a resident company of the Jubilee Auditorium, it reaches over 60,000 Albertans each year with performances in Calgary and Edmonton.
Alberta Ballet's standing company of artists are classically trained and renowned for wide-ranging versatility. These dancers come from across Canada and around the world. Many company dancers are alumni of Alberta Ballet School, Alberta Ballet's training division.

This was an excellent show, with it being my first ever ballet performance I will be sure to catch more in the future. The atmosphere was perfect, the drinks were eloquent, and the ballet dancers were phenomenal. 10 out of 10 for anyone looking for a lavishly inexpensive evening for the family.
Incredible ballet program in all elements. The new choreography, dancers, costumes, lighting, sets with minimal props all pulled together for an amazing evening. So much concentration and energy. Would definitely attend the entire program again.
I love the ballet. My daughter and I have been coming for years. We were a little disappointed in this one. Some of the scenes were too long. It was still a great experience and we will be coming back.

The entire production was excellent. The 4 Canadian choreographers did an excellent job using movement references from Nijinsky and Ballet Russe famous productions. If you didn’t get it not to worry there were excellent video shorts of a montage of historical photos with explanation to help the audience recognize what was special about the work these artist it’s did in this time period to change the world of dance and stage production going forward, the avant guarde. The ballet dancers were excellent in technique and performance, the soloists all had very good dramatic skill and the whoever did the lighting design it was amazing, brought to life the intention and emotion of the pieces. Many of the dances stole my attention throughout, not just one, but Luna’s Petruszka was superb. The costumes were simple yet very effective produced in house by the company. I am thoroughly impressed by Alberta Ballet, having recently moved to Calgary it was my first time to attend and I will definitely keep coming.

A delightful evening of dance story and music. The ambiance in the lobby was so positive and upbeat. So pleased the parking was complementary
It was one of the best ballets I have seen - the dancing, music and costumes were all spectacular. Such a clever theme. My daughter and I loved it.
A great story with the White Rabbit searching for the person who fit the lost shoe, interspersed with different fairy tales and wonderful ballet sequences. It had humor and great characters throughout. A real pleasure to watch.
We took our four year old and it was an incredible experience for all of us. Our little ballerina was wowed by the professionals and is excited to see more.
