Shen Yun Performing Arts is a triumph of collaboration, bringing together over a hundred of the world's foremost classically trained Chinese dancers, choreographers, musicians, and vocalists. It also boasts the world's only full orchestra that embraces both Western and Chinese instruments as its permanent members. 

Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is distinguished by its conscious effort to remain independent of China's communist regime, which has abused and impoverished the arts for decades. It is proud to thus include members who practice Falun Gong. The company aspires to create original performances that not only entertain, but also more deeply educate, enrich, and inspire.     I saw it at the Kennedy Center in DC. The male dancing is masculine and energetic. I love the live orchestra.

    Shen Yun is an amazingly beautiful dance production. It has gorgeous costumes that enhance the dance being performed and add’s to the over all quality of the production. The dancing in and of itself is stunning in its synchronicity, discipline and imagery. We thoroughly enjoy and appreciate Shen Yun and highly encourage family and friends to see it. As for the negative reviews, I agree with the previous poster, it’s obvious the negative reviews are bots, bogus and not very good ones at that. It perplexes me as to why someone would want to sabotage this production, for what purpose? It’s petty, vindictive and down right disgusting. Ignore the bots and trolls let them stay in the basement, go see Shen Yun for yourself. You may find you enjoy it as much as we do.

    I'm seeing all these 1 star rating, they are so robotic and repetitive. I think anyone with a brian can see those a generated by bots to drive down the rating for Shen Yun. COME TO SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES. let yourself be the judge of how good this show is. I love this show is beautiful inside and out.
