ADAM CAROLLA is best known as a comedian, actor, radio personality, television host and NY Times best-selling author. He currently hosts The Adam Carolla Show, which holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for “most downloaded podcast," and was recently a star on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. His latest book, Not Taco Bell Material, was released in June 2012 from Random House Publishing.
Adam started The Adam Carolla Show podcast with only a computer and a microphone from his home office in February 2009. That year the podcast was named iTunes #1 Podcast of 2009, and it has only grown since then. The podcast receives more than five million downloads a month and has been featured in Fast Company Magazine, Entrepreneur, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times. Adam’s immediate success prompted him to launch an entire online network, ACE Broadcasting in February 2010, which produces many of iTunes' top podcast programming.
Adam became a New York Times best-selling author when his book, In 50 Years We'll All Be Chicks, topped the charts for ten weeks. The audio version went straight to the #1 position on iTunes and remains there today. His new e-book, Rich Man Poor Man, is now available on iTunes.
Before running his online empire, Adam hosted The Adam Carolla Show on CBS radio stations in Los Angeles, Portland and Las Vegas. The four-hour weekday morning program was syndicated in several major markets, including Seattle, Sacramento and Fresno.
Adam has also starred on ABC's hit reality series Dancing with the Stars, hosted Comedy Central's Too Late with Adam Carolla and starred in TLC's The Adam Carolla Project, which chronicled the renovation and subsequent sale of his boyhood home.
Following brief stints as a skilled carpenter and boxing trainer, Adam began his career in radio after answering an ad seeking a boxing instructor to train then radio personality Jimmy Kimmel of KROQ's Kevin and Bean Show in Los Angeles. He eventually joined the show's repertoire as “Mr. Birchum,” a wood shop teacher. Adam’s success on KROQ led to a hosting job on the nationally syndicated radio program Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky. MTV developed a television version of the show, which was co-hosted by Adam and Dr. Drew for five seasons (1996-2000). The duo also authored The Dr. Drew and Adam Book: A Survival Guide to Life and Love.
With his partners Daniel Kellison and Jimmy Kimmel, Adam heads Jackhole Industries, and created and starred in two hit Comedy Central shows, The Man Show and Crank Yankers.
A native of Southern California, Adam currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lynette, and their twins.

We sat on the floor, tiny cafe style seats, facing the wall, stage right. We were staring at the small balcony seating, and wondering what their view was like. It took ‘forever’ to get drinks. They need more waiters. The show: due to the seating and cramped floor, we sat facing west, looking over or right shoulder to the north at the entertainers. The opening act was great. I really enjoyed the White/Black/Brown/Kola joke. Well done The main act: Adam was okay. He is a legend. He apologized for being late. Understood, but his tardiness made us thirstier. (See opening comments) Adam told some old, well worn jokes. He entertained. He was in a plane all day, I surmise that he never heard the news that Pelosi announced the end date of her career. As a Californian, I had hoped to hear him pummel her with his CA insight, but it never came. He went after Newsome, which was an easy target. The crowd liked him. They were true fans. I went with friends who were fans, I was there to observe. ~$95 dollar ticket for those seats, poor bar service? Never again. The good news. While waiting for my gin and tonic we booked $70 seats in THAT balcony for Newfies own Alan Doyle in April. Big Fans!!!! Yes’by
One of the funniest times of my life! Great venue, and great performances by Carolla and his team. Brilliant jokes. Mostly in the observational-comedy department. Loved it! And I even got to keep a picture of Adam Carolla with my wife and me, taken after the show. :-D

Just what we expected from Adam. Timely, funny and faced paced. Great location in a very charming neighborhood theater. Plenty of laughs and few keepers like "being on the spectrum".
We were so excited to see Adam again but he seemed tired and like he didn't really care to be there. He messed up jokes and nothing seems very current. We love Adam still but maybe it wasn't his night.
We were so looking forward to seeing his show. He wasn’t near as funny as we thought he would be. He could have roasted politicians more.
First - there were THREE opening acts. Only one of which you might have heard of. For good reason, they just weren't funny. Adam Carolla came on 1 hour into the show and was on stage for an hour. I have NEVER been so bored at a Comedy Show. I feel asleep in the front row... that bored! His show is slow and disjointed. Pass this for really, anything else. You won't regret it.
Definitely did not disappoint. I laughed so hard it hurt.
My beau and I were in stitches! Don’t ask me to repeat any of his jokes but he was hilarious!
