Adam Carolla Tickets

In a world so worries about offending it’s refreshing to hear a comedian throw caution to the wind.

Aceman and friends! Very funny, diverse crowd and the tickets were too cheap imo. First time at Sony hall I will definitely go back.

We enjoyed everything about this event. The food at Sony Hall was surprisingly good and the table service was excellent. The show itself moved along at a good pace and was very funny. My only disappointment was that Adam's set was a bit shorter than I would have preferred, but time was short. Maybe one less "friend."

First: Venue was good. My seats were excellent. VIP, front row, center. Waitstaff review at the end. The host was hilarious and was the most engaging. She brought everyone to hysterics in between each comedian's set. Besides the headliner, we had no idea who else would be there. After the unknown but excellent, Jaolinn(?), I was super-psyched to see Ryan Long next. He was quickly followed by Dave Smith and then Dan Soder. All good. Then the headliner, Carolla, came on stage and was underwhelming and easily the weakest act. I am a big fan of Carolla's various podcasts but this set was terrible. He seemed annoyed at the audience and how small it was. Maybe it was because it was his birthday and no one came. It was a short set with almost no new material. Most of it had been recycled observations from his podcast from 5-10 years ago. I don't know if he is saving the "good stuff" for his upcoming pay per view special or for the comedy sets that he sometimes puts on his podcast. This may be the way it is done now but I could not help but notice that all the male comedians came on stage with their smartphones, put them on a stool, and kept checking their phone, I guess, for their list of jokes. This seemed amateurish to me especially for someone like Carolla who often complains about smartphones. I would have preferred a discrete index card. Maybe I've seen too many comics on Netflix and I've come to expect people to memorize their lines. Regarding the venue, while my waitress was good, the waiter at the next table was annoying and unprofessional and detracted from the event. The reason was that halfway during Carolla's performance, the waiter crouched on the floor with his glowing tablet to present and collect the tabs for these tables requiring everyone at those tables to pull out their cards and start discussing who had what. Reminder: they were sitting front row, center and the headliner could not help but hear and see what was going on. At this point I could not hear Carolla while 8 people sorted their bills. Maybe that was why, when they were done, Carolla gave an abrupt, "Okay, thanks, everybody" and walked out. It was known it was his birthday so people yelled, "happy birthday" several times but he didn't turn around to acknowledge these even though he was blocked from leaving the stage for several seconds.

Adam was incredible! Have not laughed that hard in a super long time! His delivery, flow and just natural comedic talent is one of a kind! We loved the show! He and comedian Dave Smith were our favorites! Highly recommend seeing Adam! Thanks for a great night out!

Why do people feel like it is ok to shout out during performances these days? The Genesee is a very nice theater, but the disruptions during the show made the theater less classy. Carolla didn't seem too phased by the outbursts, but man it is still super annoying.

Opener was really rough.... Adam was awesome. I’d heard probably 45% of the jokes... but good show regardless.

Carolla is likeable and entertaining. He has casual command of the stage and the audience of dude bros loved him. If you’re looking for cerebral comedy or well thought out commentary, he’s not your guy. Large chunks of his material are raunchy and gross. Caveat emptor.

We showed up at exactly 9, which was the listed time, and as we walked in we thought the show had been cancelled because it was so quiet. Venue is pretty cool (The Rose in Pasadena), but it was way too big for this particular show. We had seats at a table, and it was so empty, the waiter I asked just said we could sit wherever. On certain sites, it says the tables come with minimum spend of $25/person, but I didn't see that enforced. They had a few food items (Probably 8 options total), and we were able to get an order in before the kitchen closed. Show started right at 9. Opener did about 25, and then Adam Carolla came out and did exactly and hour. He hung out after to meet people and sign stuff if you wanted, but the vibe wasn't really for my wife, so we left after the show. I like Adam Carolla and think he's still really funny, but his crowd is definitely aging out based on what I saw in that experience.

I thought Adam Carolla would be doing a stand up set, instead it was his radio show. I would've greatly preferred him doing stand up.

Adam's always great! A fair amount of his own stuff mixed in with his Unprepared efforts. Both were great. Second time seeing Adam at Thunder Valley. They've since added multiple monitors and projection screens for improved viewing with the flat seating, so there really aren't any bad seats. Convenient ingress/egress to the venue, bars inside/outside the room and food nearby. Great place.

Adam was hilarious as always.. next time do more political comedy...

Great show enjoyed the venue, nice personal experience along with a good crowd. He has great subject matter that he uses along with audience participation. He is a true American and a very good comedian. Good job Adam!!!

Adam Carolla was everything I thought he could be. Love his routine and get up.

We had an amazing date night. Adam is my husband's favorite. He literally listens to his wife and his podcasts daily. My favorite was the actual unprepared part. His ability to take any subject or idea read from a Bingo ball and make it funny was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Hysterically funny show! Adam started on time, was incredibly laugh out loud funny, and he's just the best. His stand up was fantastic, hiw "unprepared$ routine was just as great, and he stays after to meet the fans. Class act, helluva guy. I'll glady see him every time he's in town!

Love Adam Carolla and the Wilbur Theater! Drinks are a little pricey, but hey...its Boston :)
