About

Foo Fighters have been the standard bearer of mainstream rock for three decades, starting with their origins as a solo project for Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994 to the band’s first-ballot induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 and beyond. Across 11 studio albums, 10 have charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, including two No. 1 debuts for 2011’s Wasting Light and 2017’s Concrete and Gold. Seven of their records have been RIAA-certified platinum. The band also boasts one of the richest rock catalogs, topping the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart 13 times and making major impacts on the Hot 100 chart with singles like "Learn to Fly," "Times Like These," "Best of You" and "The Pretender." Foo Fighters have also established themselves as a global force with over 43 million albums sold worldwide and almost 5.9 million tickets sold as of 2022, according to Pollstar. Led by Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters are composed of Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Josh Freese, who joined the band in 2023 as the replacement drummer for Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022.

This was yet again, and incredible show by the Foo Fighters. They absolutely never disappoint and this venue just upped the atmosphere even more - the amphitheater is gorgeous and the crowd was incredible.

    Screwed by Ticketmaster/Foo Fighters

by Frustrated in Raleigh on 5/10/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

I get not being an able to sell your ticket for more than face value if you can’t use it. I do not understand not being able to sell your ticket for less than face value on a resale when no one will pay the high face value. The artist already got my money at full face value. If I can’t use it I should be able to sell it for less. I understand this may be up to the artist. Furthermore in the day of electronic tickets if I purchase for 4 of us going to a concert I should be allowed to transfer .the 2 tickets to another couple that was meeting us versus having to wait to meet them before we can all go into the venue.

    Foo Fighters NEVER disappoints!

by Holly on 5/10/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

Seeing the Foo Fighters live is a must do. They always put so much into the event and Dave is just an amazing performer! Being in an open air arena helps the ear drums some but whether it's indoors or out, they will ALWAYS leave you wanting more. I'm super happy I bought the tickets for a family event. DEFINTELY will see them every time they tour.

    Grohl Floats

by Buns on 5/7/24Dos Equis Pavilion - Dallas

Fab time seeing the Foo at Dos Equis. Wish there was more accessibility for DD and non-alcoholic drinks as that would just encourage more wise decisions. The band were great, playing for almost 3 hours. Brilliant balance between performance and commentary. Great weather, great friends, incredible performance. Would definitely see again - some in our group are going to be in Denver for later leg of tour and they were buzzing about seeing them again. Top night thanks to Grohl and team.

New Drummer, Dave Grohl rock Dallas

by JRod on 5/7/24Dos Equis Pavilion - Dallas

I was a little apprehensive going into the Dos Equis Pavillion to watch a Taylor Hawkins-less Foo Fighters take the stage. I'd heard rumblings the songs sounded a little different but no matter what, the real reason to watch the Foo Fighters is Dave Grohl. He's like your best friend's cool older brother who just makes you feel at home and loves what he does. I've had the privilege to see the Foo Fighters twice in Oklahoma but was happy to see them in my own backyard. Josh Freese no doubt has the resume and the chops to keep the band going but would the chemistry be there? My fears were abated right away as the band hit the stage with Bridge Burning and No Son of Mine, with a little bit of Black Sabbath's Paranoid sprinkled in. Freese did his thing and Dave and the boys did theirs. It was music to my ears and Dave was as charismatic as ever, interacting with us throughout the concert. There were so many highlights during the concert. They continued with Rescued from the new album then transitioned into The Pretender, a crowd favorite. They played an old one, according to Davve, La Dee Da, which I had not heard live before but sounded great. After Breakout, Medicine at Midnight, and Walk, the Foos broke into their solos. A psychedelic solo from Rami Jaffee, a Sabatoge bass line from Nate Mendel got everyone involved for a few lyrics from Dave, and Pat Smear busted out with a Blitzkrieg Bop which everyone also jammed to. Then Dave introduced the man of the hour, Josh Freese and his lengthy resume with some drum beats from The Outsider, Whip It, and March of Pigs. Then a tribute to Dimebag Darrell made My Hero that much more special as Dave honored his friend and Texas rock legend. The Sky is a Neighborhood and Learn to Fly gave way to Arlandria, another song I'd wanted to hear the band play live. These Days and All My Life rocked the pavilion and then we transitioned to the new album with Nothing At All, which they sprinkle some Black Bird and I'll Stick Around into it and The Glass, a song about Dave's loss of his mother. Monkey Wrench brought the crowd back into it with a challenge from Dave regarding the sing-along to the famous closing verse. The sentiments continued with another special tribute to Hawkins, a son of Texas, as they played his favorite song to play, Aurora. The concert ended with Best of You as the boys walked off the stage as Dave left his guitar playing the last note. The crowd shouted encore and used their lights from their phones to light up the entire pavilion and Texas night. The boys returned to play The Teacher with Dave sporting a mulit-neck guitar and he closed out the night by not saying good-bye but by playing Everlong. It capped a 24-song performance and it brought a huge relief that Freese is the guy to keep the Foos Fighting. I plan to see them again in Denver and I cannot wait. Thanks for rocking Dallas, Foos, it was a night to remember.

by n0mad2000 on 5/6/24Dos Equis Pavilion - Dallas

Thank you to Dave, Chris, Pat, Nate, Rami and Josh for a fantastic show! Nothing like singing along with 20,000 other fans for 3 hours and still wanting more. Hopefully we don't have to wait another 6 years for the next tour stop in DFW. 10/10 Would definitely recommend!

    Great show

by Mark on 5/4/24Dos Equis Pavilion - Dallas

The show was great, but there seemed to be some technical issues - the sound dropped or cut out a few different times but overall it didn’t hurt the show.
