WICKED is a Tony-winning sensation that has been defying gravity and delighting Broadway audiences since 2003. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the fantastical prequel to The Wizard of Oz was nominated for 10 Tony Awards after it opened at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, and won three, including Best Actress for Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba. The musical’s first national tour opened in 2005 and ever since, WICKED’s touring production has criss-crossed North America offering theatergoers one short day in the Emerald City filled with magic, music and the ”untold true story of the Witches of Oz.” The second national tour — known as the “Munchkinland Tour” — has been an open-ended production since 2009 and now stars Olivia Valli as Elphaba and Celia Hottenstein as Glinda.

Thoroughly enjoyable, loved every minute. First time in hobby centre too and very impressed
The evening went so smoothly and everyone was so accommodating. The seats were incredible and the ambiance was extraordinary!
I am giving it a 4-star review because the first time I watched Wicked was on Broadway with Stephanie J. Block as Elphaba. Stephanie replaced Idina Menzel and she was almost as fantastic as Idina. The production on Broadway is obviously much bigger considering they don't move from city to city. Having said that, and although the Broadway production is for sure one of a kind, the tour production was also great. Wicked will always be entertaining no matter where you watch it! I would definitely recommend!
It started a little bit late! I don’t think that people should be allowed in if they’ve been set until intermission. The voices were perfect. The costumes were superb. The sets were so wonderful.
This experience was right up there with Lion King. Amazing performance by everyone. I have recommended this to everyone.
Very entertaining! My little one totally enjoyed the play.
The audio system at the Hobby Center is awful. It prevents the audience from understanding dialogue and music lyrics. Additionally, the main actors of this tour group isn’t great. I’ve seen Wicked 4 times now and the other three show actors wet significantly better. I don’t recommend the Hobby Center or this show.
This adds a whole new dimension to The Wizard of Oz. What a great way to introduce discussion on societal problems regarding leadership, class, inequities, and the manipulation of crowd mentality. Lots and lots to unpack here. A great show!
It was my first time attending a touring Broadway play, and I thought it might have less production than Broadway! I was wrong! It was awesome!! I enjoyed the play a lot ♥️
I got to see Wicked twice in Houston this week and both times it was absolutely amazing! It was total perfection. The singing was beautiful and the acting was superb! I've seen Wicked on Broadway, but in The Hobby Center it was even more intimate. Two great nights!

Aside from an unsavory interaction with a very rude usher at the Hobby Center, we enjoyed ourselves. The show was fantastic! Outstanding vocalists, gorgeous sets and beautiful music from the orchestra!
Wow, where to start? I'll just sum it up by saying the most entertaining 3 hours with incredible voices, dancers, actors, sets, music...everything about it was superb. We could see it over and over again. I don't think it could be one bit better in NYC! What a lovely time!
It has been years since I have seen this performance. Loved it. Can’t wait for the movie.

We bought these tickets for my wife who wanted to see this show for over a decade. Finally worked out, on her birthday no less! I wasn’t anticipating to enjoy it as much being that I am not a wizard of oz fan. But I was near tears by the intermission. The acting, singing, and performance, all of it together…the showmanship was outstanding. I left a huge fan of the play. I really enjoyed the bits of humor throughout it as well. Cannot praise this enough, if you aren’t sure if you want to go see it, you do. Well worth it.
Tickets were easy to purchase. And, they were easily stored in my Apple Wallet. Plus, Ticketmaster sent me several friendly reminders, prior to the show date and time. Great experience.
This was my first time seeing the musical and it did not disappoint! Absolutely amazing, the cast did a phenomenal job!! Can’t wait to see it in San Antonio!
Best one yet, saw it years ago and it’s only gotten better. Great singing and acting. Loved it, a must see
Everything was magical. The friendliness of the staff, the drinks, the stage sets, performances and orchestra was a fantastic experience.
