WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another girl, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”
With a thrilling score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” WICKED has been hailed by The New York Times as “the defining musical of the decade.” Time Magazine cheers, “if every musical had the brain, the heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place.”
From the first electrifying note to the final breathtaking moment, WICKED—the untold true story of the Witches of Oz—transfixes audiences with its wildly inventive story. It will send your spirits soaring to heights you’ll never forget.

Absolutely loved the show. I would like to go see it again and will do so if I have an opportunity. Gamage is a great theater.
The entire evening with my granddaughter was amazing and so much fun. This was a memory making evening. The performances were just superb. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening out.
Took my 13 year old grandson to his first Broadway performance. We were not disappointed. Gammage Auditorium was a wonderful venue. Excellent acoustics and sound system. Every seat was a great view. We thoroughly enjoyed not only the production but how engaged the audience was from the start to finish. I would highly recommend anyone to see this production. Who needs all the hype and expense of NYC Broadway! This was, as my grandson told me, “a life changing experience”!
It was our families first time seeing Wicked and they LOVED it! It was funny, heart breaking and all around magical!!
This was a Christmas present for my 18yr old daughter. It was well worth it. Great acting, lighting, special effects and live orchestra music. I didn’t see any flaws in the entire production. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. 😊
This is my third time seeing Wicked at ASU Gammage and it did not disappoint. Wonderful show with fun jokes, impeccable acting, and an amazing score. This was my first time taking my 7-year-old daughter and she loved it too! She said she wants to see the play again.
My sons and I loved this show! It was amazing! Hats off to the entire cast and crew for a spectacular performance.
Show was long and absolutely FABULOUS. Worth every penny.
prepaid parking was so convenient and well worth it. Performance was excellent and the staff was very helpful in assisting my husband who has sight and mobility challenges. The annoying issue was that they were still allowing late arrivals to be seated 1/2 hour after the performance started. It is not conducive to enjoying the performance when you have arrived on time and others are crossing in front of you and stepping on your feet in the dark while carrying beverages in the hands. That is not professional theater etiquette.
This was the second time I have seen it and I could watch it over and over and over again. The actors are amazing. The songs are amazing. The story is amazing everything about it is totally awesome.
The show and theater was everything I was expecting. Easy to park and get around theater. The performance was really well done and very enjoyable. I have seen other off broadway shows in Toronto on larger stages and this one was just as enjoyable as those.
Extremely creative and talented cast with amazing special effects! Very entertaining. However, what is it about the sound system at ASU Gammage?? Almost impossible to hear the majority of the dialogue. It is not my ears. I have perfect hearing my 32-year-old daughter was the one who mentioned it. I am used to it at Gammage, but it’s not acceptable. Been going on for years wonder why they don’t fix that?
This was a fantastic production. Great show and voices. They did a wonderful job and it was amazing!
Not a single complaint about the show or the performances. The sound system was not as crips as other shows I've seen at Gammage so I wonder if there were some technical issues, but still a top-notch experience.
Wicked exemplified Disney, not a detail missed with set design, costumes and a production and Outstanding cast.
Absolutely the best I’ve ever seen! Music, sets, costumes, the gowns, special effects were all fabulous! I could see it again and again!
I’ve seen productions of Wicked before, but this version is the best I’ve seen.
Wonderful performances by cast and crew. Evolution of characters done well. Venue easy to enter and depart. Parking is plentiful
My wife and I guess that this was our 5th time for Wicked. It is in my top two favorite shows. Lauren Samuels as Elphaba was magnificent. She crushed her performance at our Tempe (Gammage) show.
