Since premiering at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre in 2003, WICKED has been mesmerizing audiences and breaking records, becoming the second highest-grossing musical in Broadway history with over $1.4 billion in tickets sold. Composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz and book writer Winnie Holzman’s magical “untold true story of the Witches of Oz” has been nominated for 10 Tony Awards — winning three — including Idina Menzel for Best Actress in a Musical as heroine Elphaba. With a captivating score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity” and “For Good,” the WICKED cast album won Best Musical Show Album at the 47th Grammy Awards, with Time magazine cheering, “If every musical had a brain, a heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place.” In addition to Menzel, the star-studded original cast included Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, Norbert Leo Butz as Fiyero, Joel Grey as the Wizard, Carole Shelley as Madame Morrible, Christopher Fitzgerald as Boq, Michelle Federer as Nessarose, and William Youmans as Doctor Dillamond. WICKED is also the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.

Loved everything about the show - the songs, the costumes, the original twist on a classic story, but most of all, the outstanding singing/performances!! Cheers!!
This is a fantastic show!!The costumes and sets are incredible and the acting superb!
The show was everything we ever dreamed of! It was incredible in every aspect and I highly recommend it to everyone! Definitely one of the best shows on broadway!!
Took our 8 and 10 year old girls. We all loved it! Elfies voice was amazing and Glenda was flawless.
This was the best experience I have had In NYC. I can not wait to see it again next year!
I loved this musical! I took my daughter for her birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Thank you!
Amazing show, amazing story, amazing music! You will enjoy it from beginning to end.
Amazing experience for our family! We were sitting in the orchestra, row H, and these seats were fantastic. Definitely an experience to remember for a long time. Thank you to all the cast members and musicians for a magical evening.
Wicked was an amazing performance. The actors/actresses did a phenomenal job. A must see show!
Show was absolutely amazing! My 8 year old daughter enjoyed it very much! The music and singing was spot on! Go see Wicked, you will not be disappointed!
I had been wanting to see Wicked for several years and finally had the opportunity to see the Broadway performance. The set was amazing and our seats were perfect. We sat in Orchestra row W seats 13 & 15. The view was great, the back row of the orchestra section seemed to be at a higher slant allowing an unobstructed view. The actresses who portrayed Elphaba and Glinda were amazing and drew the audience into the play. The costumes were done in a colorful steampunk style and the 2 hr 45 min run time flew by in no time. If you don’t see any other play in Broadway, you have to see Wicked.
The show keeps you entertained as it draws you in to each character. Awesome show for the family, date night, or group of friends.
This is my 10th time to see the production and again - they knocked it out of the park. I loved the diversity of the cast!
We were in NYC in Dec 2019 and bought tickets to see Wicked ahead of time. We were extremely impressed. It was wonderful! The talent was remarkable. I laughed and cried. Such an amazing experience. Highly recommend this show.
So much talent!!! I would love to see it again! It was a great evening.
From top to bottom the show was magnificent! The perfect amount of humor mixed in with just enough music to keep us engaged through the entire performance. This was our very first Broadway show but certainly won't be our last!
This production was top-notch! The music was beautiful, the story was inspiring. I had chills and tears and left feeling amazing. I will definitely see this show again! LOVED!
We lived Wicked! Highlight of our trip to New York. Worth every penny! Can’t give it enough stars! Fun for the entire family.
It has a good story, fantastic singers. The experience ran very well
The theatre itself is beautiful. Hannah as Elphaba was beyond my wildest expectations, her talent is mind blowing. The whole performance was outstanding. Could not recommend more!
