About

Pioneers of the Red Dirt music scene and one of America's most beloved bands, Turnpike Troubadours has amassed a massive following throughout their renowned career with more than 2.2 billion streams globally and over 1.7 million equivalent units sold. Since their debut in 2005, the band has released seven studio albums, performed countless sold-out headline shows, appeared in Paramount's hit show "Yellowstone" and were inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Most recently, Turnpike Troubadours added to their historic career with the release of their new surprise album, The Price of Admission, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts and earned them their highest Spotify chart debuts to date. The eagerly awaited follow up to their widely acclaimed 2023 album, A Cat in the Rain, The Price of Admission further cements the band as an undeniable force in the music world and led Whiskey Riff to declare "Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time." Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours is Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).

  • Great show.

Great energy and it looked like the whole band was having fun. Sound people were a little off but Great show will be seeing them again.

  • Amazing show!

    by J38 on 9/18/23Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Wood Bros set the stage for escalating awesomeness. The whole night was perfect. Wood brothers kicked it off and got the crowd going…then enter Avett Bros, you can’t go wrong there…..finally turnpike trubadours. All of them shook the room. So awesome.

  • Loved the show!

by Bill on 9/18/23Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great and The Avett Brothers never disappoint. First time for Turnpike Troubadors and they were very impressive. I wish the audience was more considerate of everyone in attendance. During the first performance by The Woods Brothers the first row on the floor insisted on standing for the entire set. It would be highly unusual if they took other attendees into consideration and didn’t require others to have to stand for the show.

  • Very Okay

    by Jermy82 on 9/18/23Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 3 out of 5

They performed with The Avett Brothers and The Wood Brothers. Both great acts, and I would say The Avett Brothers stole the show. Excellent lineup of songs, and the sound was tuned in. Also, they have an amazing violinist. Turnpike Troubadours were good, but blew through their best three songs right away. Their sound was loud without being as clear.

  • Best Arena Show Ever

    by pacers35 on 9/18/23Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

We attended this because it gave us a chance to see The Avett Brothers and Turnpike Troubadours. To discover that the Wood Brothers were actually opening the show made it even better as we had them on our 'go see' list. We spent the money on great seats--2nd row center. Wood Brothers hit the stage promptly @ 7 and it was just past 11:30 when the Troubadours called it a night. All 3 bands were 'on'. I even caught the autographed set list from Seth Avett with his guitar pic taped to it. We are 70 years old and have been attending concerts and shows since our teens. This was hands down, the absolute greatest arena show we have ever witnessed. Hats off to all of the performers!

  • They sounded so good!!!

by jdv881 on 9/5/23The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange BeachRating: 1 out of 5

They hit all the songs on my playlist. No wasting time on stuff no one knows. Very efficient. They played what the crowd wanted to hear.

  • Amazing

by JP on 9/5/23The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I truly couldn’t be happier tjat turnpike is back touring. The show was great, their new album is great. The wharf is the best venue to watch any show! Not a bad seat in the house. I prefer the 300 section anyway. It’s breezy and perfect views.

  • Meh

by TM on 9/5/23The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Muscadine Bloodline has put on a great show, but Turnpike Troubadours were disappointing. Very low energy show from Turnpike. Also really enjoyed the triplets as the first act.

  • Great time

The music and venue were all great!! I would definitely attend another concert at the wharf!!

  • Crammed

by Jolene on 9/5/23The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Went to see the turnpike troubadours. Love their music/ sound. How ever I didn’t find the concert very enjoyable. Maybe the lead singer wasn’t feeling well. Not sure but he did not interact with his fans at all. The seats were jammed packed. no room to move. Had to actually get up in the chair to let someone through. I think they crammed us in to have room for people in the pit. This is probably the wharfs fault. Hope to see better seating arrangements next time.

  • Great show

Great show! Will go see them again if they come back around my area!!

  • Turnpike Troubadours rocked it!

by Dave on 9/1/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Muscadine Bloodline opening the show was an added bonus!

  • Felt like a Turnpike Revival!

by MOMO on 8/30/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Was a awesome night with one of my favorite bands!

  • Breath taking, and not in a good way

by Charlie on 8/30/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I had seats in the section 5, all the seats in the lower section were temporary chairs. Every seat was tiny and crammed together. People were definitely too close together. I saw someone pass out just because of the lack of breathable air in our section. That being said the staff and the bands did an excellent job. Not a fan of Azura Amphitheater. I much prefer Starlight due to it having tea permanent seating that are adequately spaced apart.

  • Turnpike Troubadours

by Chapped Fan on 8/29/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert was unequivocally fantastic! Ticketmaster SUCKS!!!! The VIP experience at Azura amphitheater SUCKS! VERY Limited bar, dirty bathrooms. The zip-tied-together---too close together folding chairs SUCK! Even the parking configuration is terrible. The merch location had very long lines. The bar set up between the lawn section and the seats caused mobility issues. The really great part of the entire evening was the music. Turnpike, Avett, Old 97's and Kaitlyn Butts ALL 4 were the best I've ever seen them. I will pay to see them all again, hopefully someplace else.

  • Fantastic Show

by Jim on 8/29/23Rating: 5 out of 5

What a great show, first time I had seen Old 97's and they didn't disappoint. Great line up and enoyed the music. I have seen the Avett Brothers several times and I make it a point to never miss one of their shows. I am always pleased with the show, but I could listen to them for hours. First time I had seen Turnpike Troubadours and that has become a show I will not miss. All the energy and song after song. Great Night. If it is coming to your town don't miss it.
