About

Pioneers of the Red Dirt music scene and one of America's most beloved bands, Turnpike Troubadours has amassed a massive following throughout their renowned career with more than 2.2 billion streams globally and over 1.7 million equivalent units sold. Since their debut in 2005, the band has released seven studio albums, performed countless sold-out headline shows, appeared in Paramount's hit show "Yellowstone" and were inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Most recently, Turnpike Troubadours added to their historic career with the release of their new surprise album, The Price of Admission, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts and earned them their highest Spotify chart debuts to date. The eagerly awaited follow up to their widely acclaimed 2023 album, A Cat in the Rain, The Price of Admission further cements the band as an undeniable force in the music world and led Whiskey Riff to declare "Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time." Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours is Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).

  • Turnpike Troubadours were great!

by RockinDallas on 10/7/14South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Went to the show to see the GreenCards. They were as expected....awesome!!!!! Then the TurnPike Troubadours hit the stage. They were very, very good. Thought they outdid their last show I saw. I just wish the other concerts goers would have tried to move their loud conversations elsewhere. Why would you go to a concert and spend the entire show shouting a conversation, when you paid good money to see the show? You can talk at home.

  • Turnpike Troubadours was rompin' fun!

by dmsims on 10/7/14South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time to see Turnpike Troubadours. I missed their last two shows in the Dallas area and I was not going to miss this one! They were SO worth the wait! Their music is fun as anyone knows from listening. However, their connection with the crowd was personal and the crowd was as much a part of the show as the band. From moment one the crowd sang every lyric as if they had written them themselves. I can not wait to see them again, and am not likely to miss them anytime they are in town.

  • Just AWESOME!!!!!

    by BLR1980 on 10/7/14South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed this band's show! Great energy and tons of great music. They love what they do and it shows. I am a huge fan of all of their albums and the live performance is even better! One small complaint I have is I could do without the guitarist RC's experimentation at lead vocalist but that is just me.......I love Evan Felker's voice but RC should stick to backup vocals and guitar in my humble opinion.

Always fantastic! The venue was horrible. Southside Ballroom. One bathroom and way overpriced drinks.

  • Kick A** Show

by Pumpkinjo on 8/4/14The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Turnpike Troubadours don't disappoint! They rocked the Pagent! Everytime we see them they keep getting better! Must see everytime they are in town! Get ready to stomp your feet and make some noise!

Great band and music. They put on a great show. Only issue was sound guys think that louder is better. Even the lead singer was getting annoyed at how much he was cranking it up by the end of the night.

  • Top notch live performance

    by ChillyWilly1536 on 8/3/14The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I've been going to live performances my whole life and these guys excel. Their sound was impeccable as it was clear and neither too loud or too quiet. They sound exactly the same from their albums to live performance. The whole cast is an amazing group of musicians. They know exactly how much energy to bring to every song performed and absolutely killed it. My fiance who is just beginning to enjoy parts of country music, liked the performance so much that she chose a song of theirs to become our music to our first dance. Which is amazing to me and well go prefect to our barn wedding. Which will be in 28 days, so I couldn't be happier. Thanks Turnpike Troubadours, you will forever be a part of our lives because of your amazing performance.

  • Turnpike Troubadours rocked it all night.

by BigHeff on 8/3/14The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This band shows up to play. They hit the stage running and never let up. Good music, strong lyrics, and lots of personality on stage. The Pageant is a great venue and TT packed the house. Sidenote: People need to show up and listen to the music, not stand around and visit. You want to visit??? Go to the bar...across the street.

  • Troubadours put on a show like nobody's biz!

by ugacowgirl on 7/23/14The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a long time fan of Turnpike Troubadours, and this was the best concert of theirs I have seen. I could tell they were really enjoying themselves and pouring everything out onto the stage. The crowd was loving it. It was a perfect concert!

  • See them now in a small venue while you still can!

by Anonymous on 7/23/14The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, if you like the Troubadours music you will love them in concert. I wasn't sure what to expect from them live, but they put on a top notch show...lively and fun. I think the show title "Ones to Watch" sums it up because I think these guys are going to get big. Seemed like good chemistry with the opening act - American Aquarium

  • Best live show I've ever seen!

    by lbbell28 on 7/18/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Turnpike Troubadours put on an amazing show a PRC in Boston. The venue was intimate and they were constantly engaged with the crowd. One of the (these days) rare performances when the live music is actually better than the studio versions. We were in awe of their musical talent, and their stage presence and energy made for an unforgettable evening!

  • Turnpike Troubadors and American Aquarium

  • TT.....A show to remember!!!!

by seethemlive59 on 7/1/14House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

TT put on one hell of a show!!! The Cambridge Room was hot and steamy but the Troubadours were hotter! Can't wait to see them again! Gin and smoke and lies!!!!! American Aquarium was a great opener/ co headliner!! Intense!! Good thing there were no seats! No one would have used them anyway!

  • Great intimate show!

by SBS14 on 6/28/14Deluxe at Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Love the unique sound to the music and the band is incredible. They're one of my favorites to see live!

  • music too loud to hear a very unique voice

by clearlaker on 11/19/13House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 2 out of 5

When you listen to a TT album you hear one of the most unique voices in red dirt music. All you could hear at the HofB was the loud guitars and once and while the singers. Why must the accompaniment overpower the singer(s)???

  • Great band and great venue

by Anonymous on 11/9/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Turnpike put on one heck of a show. Several of the band members stuck around after and mingled with the crowd which was cool. They did not have to do that and it is greatly appreciated. The Birchmere is pretty cool too.

  • by Teresa20 on 11/9/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

They are an outstanding talent. We loved this show and can't wait to see the Turnpike Troubadours again and again. They are certainly a talented, hidden gem from Oklahoma.

  • Turnpike Troubadours - Excellent as always....

Third time seeing them....and every show has been excellent... You are going to get 90 plus minutes of the best Red Dirt Country you could ever here... And they do play all their standards...

  • See these guys live!!!

I hadn't heard of the Troubadors before going and now I'm completely hooked!!! They sound great recorded but they are exponentially better live!!

It was the first time we saw TT live and will see them every chance we get!!! My sister flew in from Amarillo so we could see them together live, it was a great time!
