Alt-country soul from the heart of Appalachia in Russell County, VA. 49 Winchester delivers the poetically straightforward songs of singer/guitarist Isaac Gibson in a soulful electric live show. Rock & roll with roots planted firmly in the traditions of mountain music. Since making their start in the months after high school in late 2013, the band has made a name for themselves as warriors of the road, self releasing three studio albums and commanding audiences far & wide.
“When you listen to Isaac Gibson’s evocative voice, it’s hard to imagine him in any other job. Not to say that he wouldn’t be a good actuary, but you realize that’s not where his real talent lies. His voice is filled with the ache that has fueled countless songs, and it was made to fill dark honky tonks where people want to dance. Beyond that, he has a way of telling a story that makes you pay attention to every word.”
- Glide Magazine
“In many ways, 49 Winchester, the nom de plume of singer/songwriter/guitarist Isaac Gibson, could be considered your stereotypical gruff and gritty homegrown troubadour. Over the course of the past six years, Gibson and his compatriots have made it a point to keep to the basics, be it a blazing combination of drive and defiance, or tears-in-their-beers balladry flush with seething emotion. That’s especially true on the band’s latest outing III, a confident collection that gives voice to the band’s pure, unfettered intents.”

Fantastic show and I will definitely see them live again and again
One of the best concerts I’ve been to. No bad place to stand in the venue. Music was amazing and performance was unforgettable.
Another great show by 49 Winchester. These guys never disappoint. Go see in a smaller venue before it’s too late….you will be glad you did.
Seen these guys a few times and they always rock the house. They’re genuine folks who really put a lot of effort into their work, their stage presence is something you just have to experience live. The shows are always affordable which is admirable in this day and age because they have the following to charge more and book bigger venues. I’ve met the most down to earth folks at their shows and same goes for the artists as well.
Brooklyn Bowl is a great event center! 49 Winchester show was GREAT! Definitely gonna hit this venue again and check out 49 Winchester again too! If you haven't seen 49 Winchester you really should!
49 Winchester doesn't disappoint! One of the best bands I've seen live and they just continue to get better and better!
Druid City Music Hall was a very good venue. Clean, nice access to bars, only issues was parking. 49 Winchester and Drayton Farley were both everything I expected. Great Show.
Drayton Farley totally set the mood for the whole concert!! It was great from start to finish!!
Great band, great high energy performance, I had not heard of them previously and was very pleasantly surprised
So glad I went to see 49 Winchester. I love small venues because it makes the experience very intimate. 49 Winchester is comprised of gifted musicians and Issac Gibson's vocals were great. I really enjoyed the rocking, country vibe emanating from the speakers. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and it was obvious that the band was having a good time as well. It was special for this gal from Russell County, Virginia when they performed "Russell County Line" giving tribute to where Gibson and bandmates grew up.
