Live on Broadway, the New York Times calls it "the best musical of the century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical. See it on Broadway today!
Can't remember when I laughed this hard. An irreverent look at religion. Be prepared-- this is not for youngsters.
Had me rolling with laughter from start to finish. So funny and witty. The acting, singing and dancing were on point. Amazing. I'd pay the big bucks to see it again.
The play had me laughing all night and smiling from ear to ear but most of all I got to see the play with my girlfriend who has been dying to see this play for years just to see her face and see how happy she was I couldn't ask for anything better
Amazing acting, funny, great costumes. We loved it!Definitely worth seeing it:)
Great cast, shocking story line but so funny. Left singing the songs in my head.
This was a truly spectacular production which had me gripped from the moment until the very end. The story was hilarious and so well executed- it's not often that comedy is done so well in a musical. This show will be hard to beat. Absolutely brilliant
I expected more of this play. It was fun now and then, but not all the time. But anyway I think it was a great experience to see a play on place in Broadway. We travelled all away from Sweden to see this.
Best show on Broadway! Never laughed so much at a show.
Loved this show, the singing and dancing were great, the principal actors--Nic Rouleau and Christopher John O'Neill-- were perfectly cast. Lots of laughs, guffaws. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the humor can be very off-color/offensive to some people-- they talk about genital mutilation and clitorises. Think South Park sense of humor.
Incredible. This was my 2nd time. The buzz is real. Funny writing and fantastic songs. It's shocking but worth it
We went to see the book of mormon after it was recommended to us, and we weren't disappointed ! The show is really amazing, the singing and the dancing really deserves to be seen on broadway. And I'm not even talking about humour ! Even if you don't like South Park, you'll be thrilled to follow Elder's Adventures.
I had to restrain my significant other who was laughing so loud. Very funny, and ingenious. If your a prude stay away.
Even with the warning, the explicitness of the show was very, very offensive! If we had had an aisle seat we would have walked out in the second act....we only stayed for the second act thinking that the show couldn't get worse than the first act. We were wrong!
This was a hilariously raunchy show. Great cast! Music was fantastic.
There was actually quite a few times I couldn't catch my breath from laughing so hard. I never go back and see a play a second time but I will with this one.
The show is packed with entertainment start to finish and does not contain any slow parts that makes the audience restless or disinterested. I would definitely recommend this event to any enthusiastic theater goers as well as those just looking to see a show every once in awhile. Definitely homerun.
I took my wife to see The Book of Mormon as a Valentine's Day present. We haven't been to that many shows, but this was by far the best show we've seen. We would recommend seeing it to everyone we know.
What a great show!! So funny I had to cover my mouth at times!!! Wonderful production, great set and the actors were brilliant. It was just mesmerizing - didn't know where to look next! Wanted to take it all in! I would go again!!
Funny, blasphemous, well done. The music is great and the performers did an excellent job.
loved this musical I was told in advance that this is not for those easily offended - and that was certainly true!!!
