STAIND IN CONCERT:
With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade. Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."
"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."
"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."
Love Aaron Lewis but it wasn’t one of my best concerts. He was late getting on. He seem tired and not that into it.. Great venue though!
Had a great time at this facility. Better bring plenty of money tho for alcoholic beverages.
Staind concert was one of the best ones I have attended, can’t wait to see them again!
This was a great show all around and the venue was great ! :) I love that they are very vigilant in keeping concert goers from entering GA when they do not have GA tickets. We did have someone approach us to try and get us to screenshot our GA tickets so they could get to the pit. I’m so glad there are technologies in place to discourage this. I would like to see someone monitoring the food/drink areas for this type of activity in the future.
The very best on the planet. Rock like no other will see every chance I get
From the beginning to the end, amazing show! Definitely looking forward to the next one
The concert was amazing!!! I’d never seen them before and they did not disappoint.
All 3 bands did awesome. Absolutely loved it. Not sure why Staind’s volume got turned up. It was definitely too loud as it made my nostrils vibrate 😂 and I thought my ears were going to bleed. But seriously loved the show.
The opener & Seether were great, but once Staind came on, the volume was so loud the drumbeats were rattling our chests & the artist was literally unintelligible. It was also absolutely freezing in the venue (to the point that people were shaking). We ended up leaving 5 of 6 songs into Staind’s set.
Loved the show, have waited years to see them! Absolutely awesome!
