The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883 and were one of the founding teams of the NHL during its early years, winning 11 Stanley Cup Championships between 1903 and 1927. When the NHL started to expand to the U.S., the Senators were sold to St. Louis and became the Eagles, but the team shuttered after one year. The second incarnation of the Senators joined the NHL in 1992. The Senators have since gone on to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs 16 times.

Great seat and Great view of the game and they won
It had been a few years since we came, the event experience was fantastic, as always however for the price of parking, it’s hard to justify so little traffic support for such a high price for parkingZ This is certainly not new, but the end of the evening takes away a lot of the overall enjoyment of the experience.
Great evening, had dinner at Bert’s and then watched the game. Game was ok, detroit fan so disappointed how it ended!
I understand our teams are not doing well in the standings right now. But I’ve been coming to games periodically since the Sens came back. Aside from the year ya’ll almost won the Cup. It always feels like the fans are watching a tennis match. Clapping at the end of plays with little to no cheering. I had to yell “Let’s Go Red Wings!” over and over just to get the home team riled up. That should not be the case. You can do better Ottawa.
Normally Fan Fest is exciting for my kids but this year you came up short. Not enough activities, poorly organized, the line to get a bracelet to get autographs was not managed well and time consuming. My Sens obsessed kid even said to me let's not bother with it next year. That says a lot. I know you can do better, we've seen it. You want fan support, engage them better.
The game experience has improved greatly since the new ownership. The only problem I still have is the parking. More exits would help a lot
What a bleep show after the game trying to get back to the downtown. The city, fans and franchise will benefit greatly from a downtown arena. If you are coming to Ottawa, as a tourist the parliament and museums are the main attractions, but the Sens play out of town and it is basically the Wild West everyone for themselves trying to leave.
We had tickets in section 224. Level 200 in my view offers the best experience in the arena. However both our seats were very uncomfortable as the cushions are way past their useful life. It was like sitting on a bottomless cushion. Otherwise all good.
Experience was fantastic. Me and 4 friends got seat on row c of the 100 sections and the view was insane!!!! Mcdavid draistatil all the star up close. The sound the atmosphere you really can’t put it into words. 10/10
Great game love to go again and watch them play will be buying tickets again
The food was really good and not too expensive, the atmosphere was electric. People were nice and it was easy to find out seats
It was a beautiful game unless the Senators lost the game against the Red Devils. A great ambiance with the player of piano sounds (typical of NHL games). I recommend it !
The game was an excellent game. The people were very nice to us even that we were rooting to the USA team. It was my wife first hockey game. She want to go to. more games.
My husband and I have been to a few NHL games and I attend many concerts at this venue. We really enjoyed our time in the building and the game was a really nail biter! Who knew two teams could score 15 goals in a single game?!?! I did have an issue with the accessible parking lot, however. My personal vehicle needs the large space of an accessible parking space to allow for my wheelchair to come in and out a side door. We learned that the home team players and some of the staff are utilizing the accessible parking and making it difficult for those of us in need of the parking spaces. Is there a reason they aren’t parking their cars in other areas? It’s super disrespectful and very inconvenient for those of us in need of access. Hopefully a change is made at the Canadian Tire Centre soon.
The game was great, aside from the price of beer and location of the facility, I'm excited for the new facility to be built in lebreton flats!
Great game and loved the improvements to the CTC. Concession prices are absurd!
Amazing Évents for the real fans … Great deal for many things
An excellent job of catering to the kids out front of the ctc. The on-ice practice was also fun. Job well done by the new sens organization.
Parking is a mess, no organization. There is no “wow” factor to coming to the arena, no fan give aways, Intermission show looks like it was put together minutes before going on the ice. It’s no longer a hockey fans place to be. If your a cultured hipster might be the place for you, hockey fans go watch the 67’s if your I town.
90 minutes to get off the parking lot after the games!!!
