The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883 and were one of the founding teams of the NHL during its early years, winning 11 Stanley Cup Championships between 1903 and 1927. When the NHL started to expand to the U.S., the Senators were sold to St. Louis and became the Eagles, but the team shuttered after one year. • Boy is high bowl a hike

by just a fan on 11/14/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 3 out of 5

Overall this is was a very fun experience. There are a few notes I have for the arena that can be taken for ideas for the next Arena. 1. No escalators 2. You enter the 200 and 300 sections at the same tunnel 3. the stairs are very steep and it was such a hike to get to my seats. 4. There are no non-handicap bathrooms at the 300 level. 5. there is hardly anything to consume at the 300 level. 6. getting out of the parking lots is absolutely a nightmare. I was also annoyed with the behavior of the youth hockey children and adults that did not show consideration for other spectators by constantly moving around the seats during play on the ice.

  • Not Very Exciting

    by Nomie637 on 10/30/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 3 out of 5

The seats were good, but the game was a dud. Both teh Senators and Flyers played sluggishly and to make it worse, my team, the Flyers, lost.

  • Lot7 and Food

by GuyIncognito on 10/16/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 3 out of 5

Avoid parking in Lot7, only had 2 lanes leaving it took almost 45 minutes to get out. Had chicken fingers and fries, popcorn, regular coke and a beer. Was $70.

by Amelia on 4/29/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 5 out of 5

Our amazing experience began in the Red Zone, 4 hours before puck drop, with incredible service and great prices. We then went inside and were met with the same great service, all staff was incredibly friendly and excited to be there! I have never experienced something so exciting and loved every minute of it!

  • Go Sens Go !

    by Sunny7 on 4/16/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 5 out of 5

There is no place better place than the Canadian Tire Center to enjoy a hockey match. The view is excellent from all sections, the staff is outstanding and the fan vibe is amazing. The place comes alive with the chant of “ Go Sens Go”. We are thrilled that the Ottawa Senators are heading to the playoffs. It has been a tough few years but every year we could see their determination to improve and the appreciation of their fan support cheering them on to place where they should be, in a playoff spot. We do not live in the Ottawa region but the two hour drive to see our favourite team play is always worth the trip. Looking forward to more exciting plays with our #1 team as they battle out for the Cup. We will be chanting Go Sens Go !

  • Great Venue

by Doomie on 4/14/25Canadian Tire Centre - KanataRating: 4 out of 5

I love the venue for the Ottawa Senators! Seats are comfortable, fan flow is great, clean place, friendly people. Having said all that I am not an Ottawa Senators fans and they beat my team last Friday so I do not like the Senators...nothing good to say about the team but great venue and fans! Hopefully we meet them in the playoffs, I'll gladly go back to Ottawa!
