  • Such Talent!

We had front row seats which were awesome! The combined talent of Ricky Skaggs and the 6 men in his band, Kentucky Thunder, was mind-blowing. I've never seen fingers move so fast. The music was great, the comradrie of the band was great, the amazing solos and spotlights on every instrument was just outstanding. We loved the personal stories shared as well. Loved the event, loved the venue and had a wonderful evening with my husband.

  • What a hoot!

by aok802 on 6/20/22Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater - Jefferson CityRating: 5 out of 5

We were close to the stage and could see the musicians fingers flying over the strings on their instruments. It was amazing to watch them play. Everyone of them had a turn to shine and really show what they could do. Ricky Skaggs was of course fantastic and he was really funny too!

  • Ricky Skaggs concert JC, MO

by n. C. on 6/20/22Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater - Jefferson CityRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great and it was wonderful to have Ricky Skaggs come to Jefferson City. Very nice venue. But it should be made very plain ahead of time that a small purse 12 by 8 cannot be brought in. By having to quickly leave it in my trunk, I forgot to bring in my earplugs and bug spray. The bug spray was very much needed but, luckily, Ricky is not as loud as most concerts I attend and I did okay without them. It was very nice that the golf cart rides were available for people with difficulty to walk, But afterwards, no one seemed to know where to tell us where to meet for a ride back to the car. My date almost fell several times trying the get back to the car. I finally had to leave him under a lampost and go get the car myself. A very nice elderly man driving a golf cart saw me and offered a ride. He took me back to get my date and took us back to my car. The usher was so very nice and took us to our seats as we did not know there was a handicap entrance and my date had alot of difficulty going down all the steps. We were in the third row. She also assisted us with our tickets as I had misplaced them and was told I could pick duplicates up at the box office, which was closed. and relocated at the entrance gate (but it really wasn't at the entrance gate.) All is all, other than the above mentioned issues, it was a great evening.

  • Leg room

by Lowry on 6/7/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The only drzw back to any events ive attended at this venue is the leg room . I'm not a tall person but still can't streach my legs out periodically while sitting down.

  • What a musician!

by Dustin on 5/31/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

What an absolute blast of a show! From Ricky, to his band, to the absolute mastery of the craft displayed on stage. Ricky has only gotten better with age and not to mention he doesn’t just make the show about him. He showcases each and every one of the musicians on stage and makes sure that everyone gets their share of the stage. All in all, I would give this show a complete 10/10!
