I finally added Ricky Skaggs to the list of true greats. Wonderful performance. He and his band create the perfect sound.. I love the music and love the man. I do believe bluegrass is played in Heaven... at least I hope so.

I don’t Ricky Skaggs did not do any of the country hits he is known for the light country boy all he did was bluegrass songs and that was fun but I was there to hear he is country hits I’ve been looking forward to seeing Ricky Skaggs for years so I was a little bit disappointing

Presley Barker was a real treat, and Ricky Skaggs, is awesome! We love Bluegrass, the singing and the picking was out of this world!

As for the show, I loved it! Lots and lots of great music. I really liked the small venue. It made the show more like a semi-private event. The best way to listen to good music.

If you like top notch Bluegrass, this high energy group is the one to see! They paid tribute to other Bluegrass musicians as well as the talent of the individuals in the group. The Birchmere is a wonderful venue. Relatively small in size but huge in the talent they bring in. This is a true gem in Alexandria, VA

Every seat provides a great view. Where else can you go to enjoy a great show while having dinner? It's a six hour drive but we're already planning a return visit. Ricky Skaggs and KY Thunder were amazing. At 57, I've been to many shows at many venues, both exceeded expectations. If you go, buy the book - so much history.

Song after wonderful song. The energy and talent were incredible. These are amazingly talented people, the music is electrifying and you can tell that they love the audience. Even if you don't know or love bluegrass, you have to attend a Ricky Skaggs concert. You will come out an enthusiast!!
