  • Unique and Interesting experience

by Jeff W on 3/10/20The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan of the show for years, but this was my first experience with the live show. They did a great job capturing the vibe of the cut away skits live on stage, really felt like I was watching one of the episodes from the first season live in front of us. My only complaint is I paid premium for seats up front, but the movie screen was too close and had to break my neck o watch that portion of the show. Stage was large enough to accommodate moving it back 5-6 feet and still have room to perform. Just something to consider next time. Otherwise it was great show

  • Meh

by DRN on 3/10/20The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 3 out of 5

We are longtime MST3K fans and we were excited for the show. Let start by saying the theater was hot, cramped and old. The sound for the movie was terrible causing us to miss some of the jokes. We struggled to understand both the movie sound and the live performance. I’m disappointed. We spent more money in this show than what it was worth😔

  • Show was GREAT seating NOT great

by CrisP on 3/10/20The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 3 out of 5

Ok, not a fan of this seating! I am 5’4” and when the seating is a chair on a FLAT (not stadium/raised) floor it is a major issue for me. For the vast majority of the show I was watching the action on a small elevated TV screen above me to the left that dangled from the ceiling because all I could see was the SHOULDERS AND BACK OF THE HEAD of the man in front of me. Even leaning to one side was not the best because he had an equally broad shouldered man next to him and the equally height challenged woman next to me was trying to see around them as well! Highly doubt we will return to this venue, especially when the same shows preform at other theaters where the seating is stadium style.

  • Hilarious

Cheesy movies abound, and MST3 is on the case. Great atmosphere, narration was spot on. We had a fantastic time.

  • In the not to distance future...

by Brian on 3/10/20The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 5 out of 5

It was everything I expected and wanted and more. For a series to be around for 30yrs it’s changed my life for the better. My dad and I watched it on Comedy Central, then I watched it with friends on Sci-Fi Channel. I’ve hosted viewings of the show at college campus events for fun. I introduced my gf, now wife to the show. It’s something that transcends decades with such a simple and fun premise that’s done such a fun and creative way. Having seen 2 live shows, it gives me hope that if the show doesn’t exist on tv or streaming service that it can exist on stage just as good.

  • Great show!

by K.M. on 3/9/20Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The venue was nice, and the staff was very helpful. The movie was lousy, but it resulted in great comedy.

What a fun night, great seeing the show live with an audience that's into it!

  • Great show

by Hallie on 3/9/20Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing, hilarious show. Count Basie is a great venue...not sure there's a bad seat in the house. Food and drink too! Will see more shows there I'm sure.

  • Cheesy Movie Tour Live - Great Time

by James on 3/9/20Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

The Count Basie theater in Red Bank is a great venue for a show like this...grandiose enough to give it a presence and small enough to feel like an intimate show with a group of like-minded people. The show was great and very clever in how they were able to animate the bots live on stage. It was great to see Joel live on his last tour with the beast that he created...I have been a Misty since it first started (what seems like) a hundred years ago and I am a fan of all the incarnations of MST3K as well as RiffTrax but I had never seen a live show until now. I was also able to introduce my girlfriend to the MST3K live experience and she had a blast too. Thanks to the MST3K folks for all the great work and for all the side-splitting times spent binge watching cheesy movies with riff commentary. I could do that for a living, too :-)

  • Great show

by Zjenks on 3/8/20The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, very funny even better in person. Worth the price and more we were entertained and laughing the whole time

  • Never had I ever

by D. Gizzle on 3/6/20The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

Never had I ever thought that I would get to see Joel and the robot gang live! This event was even better than I had imagined it would. A dream come true even. The venue was amazing. The staff were super friendly. If there was any let down it might have been the included dinner. It was just a tad over priced and just a tad lacking in the taste/flavor/variety dept.

  • Fun Show!

Was great to see Joel and the bots live! Even with the new cast, the show was wonderful.

  • LONG LIVE MST3K!

by Becky Smith on 3/2/20Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the show! It was great seeing Joel and the gang! It was the still the best classic sarcastic humor that we fans have all grown to love and enjoy. We will miss Joel but it looks like the Show is in good hands with the new crew! Thanks for making it a great birthday celebration for my husband...he has been a fan since the show started!

  • Inaudible - sorry.

by Quarlo on 2/17/20Rating: 1 out of 5

Sad to say that neither my girlfriend or I could hear due to poor sound quality. The dialog from the movie was too fuzzy and quiet to make out any of it and the dialogue from the performers was too loud and distorted. I’ve seen dozens of shows at the Pikes Peak Center, (comedy, classical symphonies, Jazz, and rock music, and I know the sound system CAN sound better than it did, although this is not the first time it has been set incorrectly in this fashion. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

  • Great show!

We were devotees of MST3K since it first came on air. Our kids grew up on it. It was so great to see Joel and the Bots together again. If anyone gets the chance to see this show, they absolutely should! It was great! If you're a die-hard MSTie or new to the fun, you will love it!

  • Beautiful theater

Loved The live riff of “circus of horrors”. It was great seeing Joel on his last tour.

  • Fan Experience

by Fan on 2/12/20Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 4 out of 5

As a fan, loved the show. Not sure how it plays if not familiar with the show. Not entirely sure the intermission was needed (but probably needed for merch)

  • Great Show

by LPF on 2/12/20Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

This was awesome...so much laughter! The camera screen and stage (had floor seats) didn't match up sometimes, which was a little weird. There was a crying baby towards the back of the room that kept crying a couple of times. It was distracting and annoying, but felt bad when someone yelled at that person to take the baby out. Yikes!

  • Fantastic!

by Izzy on 2/12/20Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Songs, dumb movies, and lots of comedy. The live show was everything I wanted.

  • MST3K magic

by Mo on 2/12/20Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

What a fun event! I couldn't believe I was so lucky to be in a city where Joel Hodgson and his crew performed their movie mockery-schtick. Hilarious. I laugh-cried several times. Appreciated realizing that Crow finally has legs... I love Joel! Woo-hoo!
