About

Everyone's favorite Scottish nanny is headed on tour in "a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers" (The Hollywood Reporter). Based on the beloved film and directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It's "the lovable, big-hearted musical comedy we need right now," raves the Chicago Tribune - one that proves we're better together.

  • PAC experience

by First Broadway show on 11/23/24Fox Cities PAC - AppletonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first Broadway show and I loved it. Our seats were really good and the PAC really has everything organized really good. It was easy to get to our seats and it was easy to get to our car when it was done. I definitely will be seeing more shows.

  • Hellooooooooo

by Mary G on 11/22/24Fox Cities PAC - AppletonRating: 5 out of 5

Mrs. Doubtfire The New Musical Comedy is fantastic. We felt entertained the entire time and laughed a lot! The actors and actresses were amazing and, of course, the storyline is very similar to the popular movie, but 1000X better seeing it live. We definitely recommend going to see the show when you have the opportunity. We are avid Broadway Show attendees in our area, as well as, New York City and this show is now one of our favorites.

The cast in this production were amazing! Rob McClure played Mrs. Doubtfire on a par with Robin Williams. Would love to see this again.

  • Fantastic Show

by Theatre Critic on 10/15/24SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was filled with good songs, great dancing and funny dialogue. The actors were terrific - especially the lead actor who played Mrs. Doubtfire.

  • Cute show

by Sophie on 9/25/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

I was one row from the back. Very bad idea! Still, I could hear everything well. The main actress was very shrill and it was painful to hear. A little less treble maybe! It was a cute show, very well acted. Stayed pretty true to the movie with a few changes that added to the show. The songs and dances were well choreographed. Recommend not sitting way up top, it'll be easier to see faces and expressions.

A fantastic cast telling a great story brilliantly ….

  • I Love the Live Theatre

by Rick, a former amateur performer on 9/25/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Our seats were in the Upper Balcony and the sound system prevented many of us from hearing Clearly, many punch lines, leaving us to ask patrons sitting close by, if they heard the words. About half of the time, they couldn't tell either. The songs were performed perfectly and the dances very well done as well.

  • Great performance!

I took my 2 grandkids to see Mrs. Doubtfire at Gammage at ASU and we all loved it. We laughed the entire time. I'd go to see this again, that is how good it was.

  • Poor sounds quality was disappointing

by Cetty on 9/24/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 2 out of 5

Over the musical Mrs. Doubtful was cute, but I prefer the movie to the play. We sat in the balcony at the Gammage in Tempe, AZ and the sound quality was very poor making it hard to hear the actors. It's good we have seen the movie otherwise we may not have known what was going on at times. People in the sections below us would laugh at certain parts but no one in our section laughed because we couldn't hear. I wish the Gammage would put money into upgrading the theatre so partons can enjoy a show for the money they pay for tickets.

  • Excellent show

  • Mrs Doubtfire was fire!

  • Overall a good show but ...

by FENIX on 9/23/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

The show was entertaining enough. The actor playing the main character a bit annoying nothing you can't live with but, when he used the term "illegal alien"in a bit that was it for me. The groans and boos could be heard through out. I'm sure my gasp too. In the times we are in now they could have been more sensitive. A joke should only go so far.

  • Balcony Blues

by AuntieT on 9/22/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

Went to see Mrs. Doubtfire at Gammage. Season ticket holders have the good seats, so the balcony was it. Obstructed views and the sound was terrible. We couldn’t make out the dialogue, and most of the music was muffled as well. Absolutely won’t waste my money again on this theater. The performance itself was cute but I can’t really critique what I couldn’t hear.

  • Best Two Hours in a Dress and Heels

by PhoenixNate on 9/22/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

The score was catchy, the talent fantastic, and the belly laughs just the right amount of painful. I’ve loved the film version for years and was hesitant to see a stage adaptation but it was awesome! If you can, definitely see this show and get ready for your sides to hurt…with laughter. The musical number, “WTH” by the kids was Simultaneously clever and gut wrenching as it explored how kids experience the confusion and turmoil of divorce. I’d definitely see it again.

  • Awesome show

by Ansie on 9/21/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

The show was entertaining, funny and a pleasure to watch from beginning to end. Recommended for young and old.

  • Good talent

by Coconut on 9/21/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

My family and I truly enjoyed the performance. There was great talent and choreography throughout the show. However, even though the venue was beautiful, the sound was very poor. My family and I both said if we didn’t know the original story of Mrs. Doubtfire, we would’ve been totally lost.

  • Tremendous opening night and part(s) by the lead roles

by FrankO on 9/20/24ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

The only down side was the seats are vary old. No padding on backs and no breaking aisles to get to the middle of rows.
